Magnetic Brothers, Following Light - MAG.LAB #036 (February, 23 2015)

For our 44th release we delve into the deeper and darker
    progressive vibes and we welcome back Fiddler with his
    3 track EP, 'In A Dream'. Featuring remixes from PD regulars
    Napalm and Robert R. Hardy.

    His original was previously released on our first 'Evolved 
    Progressions Volume 1' sampler last year.

    Fiddler aka Tibor Hegedus from Budapest, Hungary, has
    worked with the likes of Paul Martinez, Napalm & d-phrag
    and has released under Mistique, PHW Elements and Balkan
    Connection.

    (Original Mix):

    Brings us to a place untold, a state of blissful awareness and
    lulls us into a fantastical daydream. It's head tripping melody
    with idealistic vibes.

    (Napalm Remix):

    Napalm's interpretation of the original immobilizes us into a
    unconscious state of surreal sensation with a hypnotizing
    bass lead and layered with darker arps and synths.

    (Robert R. Hardy Remix):

    Robert's remix takes us into a deeper realm with a nice
    vibe of dreamy melodies, synths, and arps.

Fiddler makes his debut on Fuzzy Recordings with this dark and atmospheric progressive track. “Indistinctive Things” is a very analogue and organic tune with a warm bass and ethereal synths and effects. We’re very proud to have this artist on our roster and we hope to work with him more in the future.

Simos Tagias takes a slightly more driving approach to the track by adding some sweet echoed top melodies and changing the bass notes a bit to give his remix some more livelihood. Some carefully placed noise sweeps and percussion effects also intensify the mood of this version.

The remix by Ronfoller chills things down, concentrating on building the feeling of a wide space with distant sounding reverbs on the main theme and some cavernous drum hits. To prevent the listener form getting too comfortable, some alternate takes on the original track’s melody are also thrown in the mix to spice things up.

Almost 5 years ago I produced this song, dedicated to my mother. Now I found time and muse to make a finally a mastered version. Because the 2012 version sounds in so many ways horrible.

My name is Tibor Hegedüs (Fiddler), I was born on 20th December, 1981 in Győr (Hungary). 
I have been attracted by music since I was 10. During my teenager years I collected the most melodic tracks. My first "lovers" were the songs of Depeche Mode and Bonanza Banzai, then there was a turn in my life, caused by the enormous development of electronic music. 
That time I really enjoyed listening to the artists of Hardcore and Happy Hardcore, for example Charly Lownoise & Menthal Theo, Dune, RMB, Raver'S'Nature. Each of them became my favourite one and even nowadays I like to find them for a short play, if I’m in the mood. 

Afterall, I preferred listening to a wider range of music. I was steadily intoxicated by Trance & Techno. I was immediately fascinated by the happiness and delight in the world of Trance and on the other hand I was carried away by the pumping of the robust and dark Techno sounds. My favourite trance artists are Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren and from techno: Chris Liebing, Rush, Marco Carola. 

Afterwards the trance atmosphere was dominant for me, then Progressive House amazed me when it appeared in the electronic dance music world. 
That's the stlyle which fits me the most, which I really like to listen to and play as well. In my opinion the greatest artists are – just to mention a few of them: Kintar, Mango, Maindave, Michael & Levan, Embliss, C-Jay, Ivan Nikusev, Ali Inzel, Moshic, Deluna, Loquai, Bobby Deep, Christos Fourkis, Faskil or M.A.Z.7 from foreign side, and of course, the greatest Hungarians are: Elfsong/Style Clash, Aeron Aether, Retroid, East Cafe, Soundstorm..
My aim is to really focus on my producer work in the near future, I hope successfully :)
