Dual Dimensions marks a milestone as the 20th release in Fides’ main catalog. This split EP features label head Z.I.P.P.O and the eclectic duo Tapefeed, each contributing two tracks to create a unique blend of sounds that encapsulates the essence of techno.

Side A opens with Tapefeed's "Hellz Bellz" a percussive workout that delivers stripped-down, peak-time energy, perfect for driving dance floors into a frenzy. Following "Surge of Hope" takes listeners on an evolving journey, starting deep and gradually transforming into an energetic yet meditative composition. On Side B, Z.I.P.P.O's "Satara" stands out as a 909-based techno gem. Its mind-twisting sound design, rolling lead, and mental bleeps take you on a profound auditory voyage, rich with depth and complexity. The Side B concludes with "The Strange Door" a deep techno track that combines tribal rhythms and atmospheric depth.

Figure is excited to welcome IGLO to the roster, a promising new talent in techno. With a background in classical music, IGLO began his journey with the renowned Thomanerchor Leipzig before moving on to play guitar in bands. His diverse musical experience informs his unique approach to techno, merging classical influences with modern electronic production. On his debut EP for Figure, IGLO presents a collection of tracks that showcase his skill in blending solid rhythms, deep atmospheres, and rich textures. The opening track, Neverplace, introduces the EP with dubby chords and rave-inspired vocals, setting a late-night tone with emotional depth. Recovery follows, featuring a groovy bassline and a spoken word sample that enhances the track’s immersive feel. In Tell Me Everything, IGLO moves into snappier rhythms, with looping elements and a distant vocal that adds a mysterious edge. Introspection stands apart with IGLO’s own singing voice, paired with analogue rhythms that create a smooth, reflective flow while maintaining steady momentum. The two digital bonus tracks, Dispersity and Solitude, close the EP with steady, rumbling beats and tight rhythms, keeping the energy grounded and focused while engaging the dancefloor.
