Comenzó su pasión por la música a corta edad, a los 13 años ya intentaba realizar sus primeras mezclas, dejándose llevar por ritmos rotos.

Fue en 2011 cuando dio un pequeño salto actuando en Pubs y Discotecas de varios puntos de Andalucía, ampliando poco a poco este abanico hasta salir varias veces la península para actuar en la isla de Tenerife.

Siempre estuvo interesado en crear su propia música y fue en marzo de 2013 cuando decidió ponerse manos a la obra y empezó a trastear con varios programas de producción, siendo Logic su herramienta definitiva con la que compuso su primera canción tras unos meses de trabajo.

Este artista ya tiene una larga lista de pistas a la venta y varios también editados en formato físico por diferentes sellos discográficos, entre ellos varios que llegaron al top del Top Breaks mundial e incluso han tenido muy buenas críticas en la prestigiosa revista musical Dj Mag & Mixmag. Un estilo un tanto peculiar el que define a este artista fusionando el estilo de la vieja escuela y Uk Garage.

En 2017 recibió el premio «Best Up & Coming Artist International» en los premios «Miami Bass Awards» y en 2018 volvió a ser nominado a mejor remix con «GN – Hopes (Adam Vyt Remix)

A lo largo de su carrera, ha tenido el placer de participar en varios de los mejores festivales de Andalucía y ha compartido cartel con grandes DJs y productores de la escena mundialmente reconocida.

En mayo de 2020 une fuerzas con el productor onubense “Sekret Chadow” y abren el sello discográfico 13Monkeys Records.

After stumbling into Orlando Club Scene Back in 94, Places like The Edge, Firestone, UV, Infinity/Cyberzone, Aahz, to Icon, The Groove, late nineties to Vixen, Vintage, Suite B. Renato is well groomed in the True BreakBeat sound from his Orlando roots.
And his sets prove it Fun, Hard, Grimy, Funky, B-Boy Style Breaks Sprinkled with some dope Vocals. Renato has played shows with DJ Chronic, D-Xtreme, Mike-B, AK1200, DJ KNightlife, Tony Faline, Lee Coombs, Geebo, 21Paths, Wavewhore, Stylus, DJ 50, just to name a few. James Green aka Dustin Funkman has been a significant contributor to the electronic music scene for the last two decades. As a lover of all things electronic he has been entertaining the masses. Be it in the way of Djing, or  producing. He has become known for a sound that is unique and guarantees a palatable energy on any dancefloor.

He started listening to electronic music in 1995, influenced by genres such as Trance, Hardcore, Jungle and Breakbeats, attending events produced by Hullabaloo, Syrous, Good Vibes, Lifeforce, and Big Bud. Inspired by the sounds and incredible vibe, James began learning to beatmatch vinyl in 1999. Within a year he began producing with REASON and acquired his first residency under the name Scratche, at one of the Gold Club series establishments, Revolution NightClub, in Waterloo, Ontario.

Gaining a significant following, he began coordinating and throwing his own events in Toronto, Kitchener, Hamilton and Waterloo Ontario under the name Reddi Supply Productions. Becoming widely known booking events out of province and internationally. Enjoying measured success, James chose to focus his efforts on producing, as things go in life he had just married and become a new father, playing gigs had temporarily become impractical. This new direction gained serious and quick momentum with a multitude of attention by various record labels,  4Play Traxx, Padded Cell, Breaks R Boss, and Promo Records founded by none other than Robb G.  Signing several releases. One of which, “Electric Dyslexic” , was remixed by none other than TJR, best known for working with Pitbull on “Don’t stop the party”.

In 2014 James continued to release his own produced music, signing with Truespin, and Western Bloc, before acquiring his two first international labels with Base Industry Records USA, and Young NRG out of Italy. He also welcomed the birth of his second child.

2015 marked the official retirement of Scratche, bringing about tremendous change in sound and genres. This creative shift proved positive in the way of self discovery and the emerging of a new persona Dustin Funkman.  Dabbling in the ghetto funk genre proved to be a success as he was just becoming familiar with this type of sound. All efforts paying off with two releases to Breakbeat Paradise Recordings out of Florida, signing not only with this label but also Basement Tapes, Chicago.

Beginning a new chapter in the Maritimes in 2021 is what life looks like for James or as everyone likes to call him, Dustin. Making friends with a like minded community has warranted opportunities to share his contribution of sound at several establishments in Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton. Crave Bar and Lounge, Lexi’s Lounge, Kings Club, McGills, and Nest to name a few. Given the opportunity to play at renowned festival Electric Pines in 2022, and again in 2023 with his lovely wife, Sarah aka Beats Petite as their duo persona, “All Things Funkman”.Recent projects include several new releases signing with Big Fat Mama Beats UK, One7Audio U.S.A.and Monum3ntal Musiq remixing for local act Long Distance Rivals.  2024 signing with Bad Music Records for release of “Bass Acid” collab with GooseTronics, along with Wildfire Recordings, Alberta.

Dustin, aka James Green currently resides in Saint John, New Brunswick with his wife, Sarah an their two boys Avery and Adrian. His love of life and music has brought him this far, we can only imagine where it will take us all next.

DJ STYLUS

   For anyone who has been in the Electronic Music Scene in the South Eastern portion of the United States, the name Stylus is known as legendary. Many nights, events and venues Stylus has lead listeners on a journey of epic sound. From his selection of wicked intelligent breaks, drivin’ progressive house, and extended seamless mixes, Stylus has inspired many who have been standing with ears perked up and a grin on their face, waiting for the next track to drop into place. 
   The journey begins in 1991, when Stylus was a resident at The Beacham Theater (Orlando FL.) for its’ Friday night event dubbed WWIII. Unfortunately the Beacham Theater was nearing the end of its’ reign as the premiere night club in Orlando, due to the owner having a child with severe health problems, combined with the stress of club management, the owner elected to close the doors after many years of success. That brief stint was all Stylus needed to make his mark, and connect with individuals that would later give him his next residency at Orlando’s legendary ABYSS. Paired up with fellow resident DJ D-Xtreme, the Duo took the Orlando Club scene to an entirely new level. The unstoppable wave of positive vibe, fueled by cutting edge music and intense flowing mixes is something that is discussed by club goers to this day. The ABYSS was notorious for holding incredible events, where Stylus and D-Xtreme would host many guest DJs from across Florida. Some of these events lasted over 48 hours, and caught the attention of city officials. And as all good things come to an end, the ABYSS was forced to close its doors, in an attempt to make a dent in Orlando’s massive dance music scene. 
   That dent, was but a mere scratch of what was to come. Stylus continued to give the masses what they came for. As loyal followers would travel across the southeast to catch a set at one of many clubs, or events. Some of these clubs were residencies and others were frequent guest spots. The list is long, but some of the most recognizable names are, The Edge, Club @ Firestone, Limelight (NY),  Marz, Icon, Renaissance, Cloud Nine, The Coliseum, Masquerade, Paragon, Warsaw, The Louve, Santuary, Dimensions, Outer Limits, Aurora, Club 2000, Velvet, Impact, 600 North, Club Electra, Mimosa, and Area 51, to name only a few. The list of events/music festivals is nearly endless, stretching from Miami FL to Calgary Alberta, Canada. Events such as Zen I - VI, Cozmos I,II,III, Usuaya, Passion I,II,III, Energy I,II,III, Endo-Meka, Labyrinth, Unity I,II, Hyperspace I,II, Séance I,II, D-lusion, Epic, Glide, Quench, Fusion, Elevation I,II,III, Electrolyte, and the ever famous Ultra music festival. These events drew crowds from 5,000 to over 25,000 in attendance, and hosted artists such as Prodigy, Moby, Hybrid, Rabbit in the Moon, Quiver, Deep Sky, Union Jack, Underworld, Cosmic Baby, Blue Amazon, Way out West, Crystal Method,  Cirrus, BT, Electric Skychurch, Uberzone, Dubtribe, Cotton Club, Rhythm Section, Mix Factory, Spiritual Being, Dynamix II, Jackal and Hyde, Young American Primitive, as well as Global DJs Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Peter Tong, Sandra Collins, Timo Maas, Dave Seaman, Josh Wink, DJ Icey, Keioki, Nick Warren, Adam Freeland, Rennie Pilgram, Christopher Lawrence, and countless others.
   Stylus has re-engaged himself back in the studio to pick up where he left off, and give those loyal fans more of what they long for, that ever evolving style and cutting edge sound.


Hit & Control surge como agrupación en base a más de 10 años de experiencia con la música electrónica de baile. Aunque no se les puede encasillar dentro de un estilo musical concreto, debido a sus muchas y variadas influencias, podría decirse que siguen una línea principal Electro y Big-Room, incluyendo además estilos como Dub Step, Trap o Drum and Bass. Muchas son las voces que valoran sus sets por la contundencia, la sorpresa,  el performance y por el entendimiento con el público.
Sus integrantes: R4B3N y Timothy Harris atesoran en conjunto las más variadas experiencias dentro de la industria musical. R4B3N, ha compartido cartel con los grandes nombres de la escena nacional e internacional en las más famosas salas y discotecas de toda Andalucía. También  ha editado varios temas en diferentes sellos discográficos.  Cabe señalar su pertenencia al grupo de Rap “Tres Reyes”, del que como DJ / productor ha desarrollado una importante habilidad en el arte del Scracht, que ha sabido extrapolar inteligentemente a sus Sets de música electrónica. Timothy Harris, por su parte, fue miembro integrante de otra agrupación con la que actuó en diferentes ciudades andaluzas, compartiendo cartel con grandes nombres de la escena. Además, ha colaborado en producciones de diferentes estilos de música electrónica.
Hit & Control es una fusión inteligente de estilos adaptada a la nueva escena EDM, forjada en la experiencia del evento, en el contacto directo con el público.
