Field Notes is a record label based out of Southern California dedicated to the wide range of natural soundscapes and organic sounds found in ambient music.
Field Notes intends to serve as a host for music and artists dedicated to merging the modern sounds of every day life with the melodies of nature to create engaging and attenuated landscapes of harmonic sophistication.

Ambient Music must be able to accomodate many levels of listening attention without en- forcing one in particular; it must be as ignorable as it is interesting.
