A ten minutes recording of the waves at Haukland Beach in the Lofoten Islands in Norway, taken one evening in February 2022. It was freezing cold with moderate to strong wind.

Recorded with the built-in stereo microphones of a Zoom H4N Pro. I used a high-pass filter in some sections of the track to remove low frequency wind noise. Other than that, and fade in/out, the track is not processed.

German Member of Parliament Sevim Dağdelen, of the Left Party, Die Linke, condemns the NATO "proxy war" in Ukraine, saying the EU is acting as US "vassals". President Biden is now visiting Israel, doubling down on the United States’ unconditional support of the apartheid regime. Days after the Un documented how Israel had struck schools and hospitals where Palestinians had taken refuge, a major hospital suffered a direct hit, killing more than 500.

Brian Becker is joined by Professor Mohammad Marandi. He is an expert on American studies and postcolonial literature who teaches at the University of Tehran.

Nature reserve in Flói 2011 – Part 2

Recorded at Fort Cronkhite north of San Francisco. The doors to the old bunker have recently been sealed off for safety reasons so no door movement could be recorded. In spite of this I grabbed a tire iron and got to improvising latch and impact sounds. Schoeps CMC6/MK41-MK8 MS.
