The metamorphosis of our vision is beginning to take shape with our very first release. Started as a podcast series, which connected so many people of different interests, we now expand our horizon. Our unique and innovative approach to fuse many forms of art into each project, will from now also be carried forward into our own label. With Yeröm we have found exactly the right act to start our new project. This newcomer from Belgium has already convinced the community with numerous self-produced tracks and remixes. His mix of progressive and melodic sounds bring his compositions to life and drive them forward. The Ground EP is a perfect reflection of all the facets of his productions.

After seizing the spotlight with 2 lush singles 'Almost Home' and 'Some Kind Of Beautiful', Montreal-based indie electronic act HOKI return with a third instalment; yet another brilliant taster from their forthcoming album 'Strangest Of Us All'. 'Land of Our Dead' is an enthralling cut from the rising pair, fusing the harrowing vocals of Brent McCormick with a cinematic slice of eery electronica from Varti Deuchoghlian. Joining the duo on the release is none other than Matthias Meyer. The German producer, resident at the renowned Watergate club in Berlin, is globally recognised for his deft touch when it comes to crafting emotive club records and he doesn't disappoint, bringing a signature groove to the original track.

It's been a while since Audiotrophe Ernährung's last great release on Wout Records; the happier we are for the upcoming 3 tracker! The ‘Mellotron’ EP is a tonal retrospective of the early days of audio sampling with the well-known instrument Mellotron, which is regarded as the analogue prototype of a sampler. Today's digital emulation is just as characteristic, warm, dirty and noisy and whose timbres form the synthetic core of the three compositions. ‘ARP 2602’ captivates with breakbeat-like drums, rhythmic percussion and especially with deep bass synth. However, it's those glitchy voice snippets that make the track so vibrant. Two worlds collide in the title track ‘Mellotron': on the one hand the beauty of the Mellotron piano, on the other hand the characteristic acid sounds of electronic music. It is this extreme difference that harmonizes so thoroughly. 

‘Sawtooth Tiger’, our premiere today, walls up the whole EP with choral voices, Mellotron flutes and an 80's bassline - a  superb stunner. There are three very different, but highly effective tracks that are guaranteed to make their mark.
