Modern Nostalgia proudly presents Remixed, a bold and diverse reimagining of Resonant Robot's catalog, showcasing fresh perspectives from a carefully curated lineup of producers. This EP breathes new life into select tracks from the artist's previous releases on the label, channeling the spirit of innovation and underground authenticity that defines Modern Nostalgia.

Gerwin van Engelenburg returns to the imprint with a sharp, broken-beat interpretation of In The Underground, steering it confidently into electro territory. His remix pulses with raw energy, merging rhythmic complexity with a deeply rooted club sensibility.

Legendary producer Robert Babicz takes the ethereal Eternal Echoes and transforms it into a lush, melodic techno journey. With his signature sound design and emotional depth, Babicz adds a dreamy, progressive atmosphere that elevates the original into a hypnotic new dimension.

Label founder Kimyou steps out from behind the scenes to rework Can You Hear My Call, delivering a stripped-down yet funky minimal take. It's a cerebral yet danceable cut, perfectly aligned with the label's ethos of understated innovation.

Newcomer SURFOSURF makes a strong debut with a groove-heavy remix of Naturystic, injecting crisp tech house rhythms and a warm, rolling bassline. As an added bonus, a second, exclusive SURFOSURF remix is included on the limited edition vinyl pressing-tailored for collectors and selectors alike.

The Remixed EP is a testament to Modern Nostalgia's mission: to uphold the spirit of early electronic music where creativity, community, and authenticity ruled. Curated with care by Kimyou, the release resists fleeting trends in favor of timeless, underground expression. This is music for those who listen deeply-crafted with intent, and built to last.

It's been a while since Audiotrophe Ernährung's last great release on Wout Records; the happier we are for the upcoming 3 tracker! The ‘Mellotron’ EP is a tonal retrospective of the early days of audio sampling with the well-known instrument Mellotron, which is regarded as the analogue prototype of a sampler. Today's digital emulation is just as characteristic, warm, dirty and noisy and whose timbres form the synthetic core of the three compositions. ‘ARP 2602’ captivates with breakbeat-like drums, rhythmic percussion and especially with deep bass synth. However, it's those glitchy voice snippets that make the track so vibrant. Two worlds collide in the title track ‘Mellotron': on the one hand the beauty of the Mellotron piano, on the other hand the characteristic acid sounds of electronic music. It is this extreme difference that harmonizes so thoroughly. 

‘Sawtooth Tiger’, our premiere today, walls up the whole EP with choral voices, Mellotron flutes and an 80's bassline - a  superb stunner. There are three very different, but highly effective tracks that are guaranteed to make their mark.
