Now we concentrate on Bobmo aka Hugues Rey, who has been producing bouncy, mischievous and highly danceable music for the last seven or so years. His 'Sonic Soul' EP dropped last year and this further proved why he's an artist who's constantly evolving.

His next EP comes once again through home-label Marble and the 'When I Look' EP is two tracks of French fire. We have the very first spin of second track 'It Is Happening Again' and this acidic roller is set to blow up dancefloors worldwide. Check it out and get those fists pumping.

Ultramajic goes for the jugular with the second chapter of its Metaphysix series after Aden and Creepy Autograph's first installment won over many new hearts in 2013 (particularly with the much-buzzed about "Whip") while keeping existing acolytes very happy.

Inspired in equal parts by legends of early Detroit music and arcane philosophical-religious concepts, these are savage drum tracks slimmed down to their meanest and leanest states - dance music at an elemental level, pure rhythmic bliss that would do past drum machine wizards like Plastikman very proud while sitting nicely alongside modern operations like Night Slugs' Club Constructions series. It's no surprise, then, that Night Slugs co-founder L-Vis 1990 makes an appearance here under his Dance System alias with the rugged "RZ1", effortlessly bridging the gap between forward UK styles and vintage Detroit soul. Matrixxman steps up to the plate in a big way with the hard drum rolls of "Simulation" and two different incarnations of the jacking, rimshot-crazy "Stop It". Creepy Autograph is back for his second appearance in the Metaphysix series with a ferocious remix of "Simulation" while Lando (formerly Lando Kal) rounds things out with "Loveplay", adding soulful vox and bouncing synths to the machinelike motif.

All in all this a lethal set of no-frills, drum machine-inspired workouts that demonstrate the "less is more" maxim with sterling results, revealing each artist to be a virtuoso of rhythm and Edgar to be a consummate curator. Complete with magickal cover art by Jimmy Edgar and Pilar Zeta reportedly made while traveling in Egypt, there is indeed much magic to be mesmerized by here.

After the release of 2000 and One’s “Rambik EP” on Intacto Records this summer, Pitcher Plants EP continues to success the journey of Detroit Techno. Early plant explorers were convinced that the most mysterious pray-tapping pitcher plants came from Mars because they are so out-of-this-world, as is the ode to this EP.

A no-nonsense Techno release by 2000 and One entitled “Rambik EP” contains 3 tracks on both vinyl and digital format. Dylan draws his inspiration for this release from the Dutch word "Kattegat" which find its heritage way back in the 8th century when the Vikings first set sail and reign down to conquer West Europe. Kattegat is that narrow passage in the Baltic Sea that connects Scandinavia with the North Sea.

ROD needs no introduction as the prolific alter ego of a certain Dutch producer already well associated with Figure. Here we are treated to 3 new ROD cuts, precisely aimed at the dancefloor, plus a special Len Faki remix to crown the package.

From the tricky, filtering rumbles of 'Truck One', to the psycho tendencies of 'Trucker One', or indeed the stuttering, head-spin of 'Trucker Two', the damage capabilities of this EP are clear. ROD's stripped and no-nonsense aesthetic, paired with a unique sense of timing and a delicate hand on the mixing desk ensure these minimalist tools also offer the touch of a long-time Techno devotee - that is to say - Timeless!

Len Faki offers up his take on 'Truck One' in a storming, action-packed ride, building on ROD's sparse palette of sound-design rumbles, and creates a straight up modern Techno roller that refuses to be shy!
