The Anatomy Of Clouds

This track has been composed for the Piano Day (march the 29th).
I composed this solo piano song as a tribute to the instrument itself and tried to express how playing on a piano is sort of a healing process from what I experienced. How the fearsome events turn into a tremendously delicate lesson throughout the composition. It was late at night, dark and placidly comforting, I hope you could feel this while listening to the track.

While walking the dog one day I came across a dumped piano.  I scraped the exposed strings and recorded it on my phone.

I sampled it and have combined it here with excerpts from improvisations I have done over the year, building a collage and hopefully giving that old joanna some life after death.
