Twenty-two years after helping establish the UAE's alternative rock scene, Saleh Hamed (Sol Farah) and Ahmed Jamali return with Be Someone—a bold evolution of their signature sound, fusing anthemic rock with lush electronic textures.

Hamed and Jamali first gained recognition as part of Gray Test, which became the first local act to perform alongside international headliners at Dubai’s Gig on the Green festival in 2003, sharing the stage with Suede and Fun Lovin' Criminals.

Following Gray Test, Hamed joined Juliana Down, who later signed an international deal with Sony BMG, became the highest-selling UAE artist of the decade (The National, 2015), and were nominated for Best Middle East Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards (Gulf News, Al Arabiya).

"Each phase of our journey has pushed boundaries," says Hamed. "From being the first local band at Gig on the Green to Juliana Down’s MTV nomination, we’ve always challenged expectations. With Dozenz, we’re continuing that tradition of growth."
