For years we thought it had been lost for good but clearing out the studio this year Bonar found it in with a load of old tapes .. so hear it is .. live and loose ...

One of the true pioneers of live disco and dance music in Britain over the last 15 years gets its grips into our mix series. Off the back of their excellently selected curation 12" series on 2020 vision and the banger filled remix series(featuring Gerd Janson, DJ Nature and more) of their seminal "Age Of Ego" album from back in 2019 it has proved that Crazy P show no signs of slowing down. We had a chat with the band about the mix and and what they have been up to lately:

It's the TC... Channeling the energy of everyone's favourite Essex hun, Tia Cousins is who she is, and she ain't gonna apologise for it.

The London-based DJ mines for music on the outer fringes, whether its new wave oddities, off-kilter breakbeats or hypnotic techno. That said she's not just got a knack for chugging it out in a dark club, she can raise a smile too with her synth-pop, folk and post-punk finds; an eclecticism that's earned her a number of radio residencies over the years on NTS, Balamii and more recently on Noods Radio.

This no-nonsense attitude and bottomless music knowledge has caught the ears of events and festivals like Fabric, Field Manuevers and Love International, as well as the attention of Overmono who invited her to play as the support on their UK and Ireland tour.

Another duo who also imparted an invitation to her to join them on the arm up were our Glasgow favourites Optimo, and lucky for you lovely lot Tia has kindly given us the entire recording to share with the world... A whopping three hour trip live and direct from Phonox. Long may she sliv...

That Mathias Kaden definitely knows how to put together a complete mix-cd, is clearly on display for the full-blooded DJ and house enthusiast with the 2011 compilation of the Groove CD number 40. For the 14th Watergate Compilation he bounds an edition with a key set on CD with timeless releases and evergreen classics united. These function just the same in the club on the banks of the Spree just as they would anywhere. Not least of all to thank are the three exclusive and unreleased tracks from Rodriguez Jr., Marco Resmann and Christian Burkhardt. These are finally available on vinyl and can be acquired via Freude Am Tanzen. Made for the club or the best festivals and open-airs of the summer. House without compromise and danceable happiness in a four x four gallop. In short, energizing and yet elegant just like the sets from Mathias Kaden himself.

Dass Mathias Kaden durchaus weiß, wie eine gelungene Mix-CD auszusehen hat, stellte der Vollblut-DJ und House-Enthusiast bereits 2011 bei der Zusammenstellung der Groove-CD Nummer 40 unter Beweis. Für die 14. Die gibt es nun endlich auch auf Vinyl, erhältlich über Freude Am Tanzen, gemacht für den Einsatz im Club oder auf den anstehenden Festivals und Open-Airs des Sommers. House ohne Kompromisse und tanzbares Glück im Vierviertel-Galopp. Kurzum energetisch und doch elegant, ganz so wie die Sets von Mathias Kaden selbst.
