Having recently celebrated its second birthday with the release of ‘100% Continental’, a best-of mix conceived by its A&R/DJ Jerry Bouthier, Continental records now stops off in Japan for Boys Get Hurt’s new EP: ‘Your Love’ featuring Cinema Citizen.

Already noticed for his remixes (Reflex, Chela, Autokratz, DCUP, Pherotone…) and with several releases under his belt (including a track on the ‘Bonjour Colette’ compilation), Tokyo-based Yuki Abe AKA producer/DJ Boys Get Hurt gets his inspiration from the melancholic feelings the end of summer inevitably brings about, a personal and evocative sensibility in tune with the land of the rising sun’s delicate culture. Yuki expertly crafts bouncy disco-house music with sprinklings of electronica, indie, ambient, hip-hop and R&B – perfect 2014 pop to our ears.

On ‘Your Love’, a meaningful song to practice your best dance moves to, he has teamed up with male vocalist Cinema Citizen - Nobuki Akiyama, borrowed to band Ykiki Beat - for a boyish declaration of love in all its teenage glory.  Dutch rising star NSFW gives it a slick makeover with a deeper twist, whilst French hopeful Avantime takes a slightly more introspective route. Let’s not forget the sublime B-side ‘Sea Through’, a tantalizing, hypnotic disco merry-go-round which shows the prolific Boys Get Hurt is far from being a one-trick pony.

Media Blackout all-star ‘Medsound' returns with his latest smash ‘Moving Right' featuring the deliciously voice of Dana Jean Phoenix who makes her debut on the label. The Barcelona based enigmatic Medsound has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing his huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing. 

Russian master of the cool beat ‘Alex Hook' is another making his debut on Media Blackout with his incredible rendition of ‘Moving Right'. Alex's affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. With recently occupying the number 1 spot on Beatport he truly lets his talent shine thru with his rendition of 'Moving Right'. Part deep nu disco, part driving four to the floor house; his remix of is ode to house music that creates a mood that's perfect for any dance-floor. Stunning stuff! 

The second remix comes from none other than British sound maestro Ben Macklin, who besides is well known persona is a true master of the craft. He drops a stunning remix of ‘Moving Right'; a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while Dana's voice make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

French sound genius Juloboy, famed for his body moving beats and immense production skills, delivers a remix that dives into more calm territory with lots of euphoric vibes and a beautiful Spanish guitar that builds the main focal point of his stunning rework. The luscious use of the vocals, bass stabs and driving drums make for an irresistible rhythm while the clever chords round off these fantastic interpretations.

Last but not least we have Media Blackout favourite Rafael Lambert who's remix focuses on the melodic side, by cleverly chopping the beats and vocal for the opening part oft he track to create a moody and emotional vibe, which in combination with some swinging drums half way thru establishes so much positive energy that it takes you right to any happening beach house club at sunset in the world, emphasizing the vast musical spectrum this release has on offer.

Germany-based Sebastian Stuetz is the brain and mind behind the well-known music-project “Final DJs”. Besides producing and DJ’ing, he is also into blogging at Nu Disco Your Disco , a prominent base for Nu-Disco around the web.

After experimenting with different kinds of electronic music, Daft Punk’s album „Homework“, gained his attention thanks to its sampled and retro-influenced house-music. While playing French-house, disco-house or synthwave for a few years as a DJ, the enthusiastic virtuoso followed up by creating his own music-project.

“Final DJs” was born back in 2010 and soon after, several remixes for labels like Kiez Beats, Universal Music or Pyramid (Kitsuné).
In 2013 the single “One Day In The Sun” (Kiez Beats) which featured popular house-music vocalist Stee Downes went on to be played at Abercrombie & Fitch-stores worldwide while it made its way into the Beatport Nu-Disco charts thanks also to remixes by Teenage Mutants and Vintage Culture to stay there for quite some time.

The next releases were a mixture of house and nudisco while supported by the likes of Thump.com, Goldroom, Satin Jackets, Earmilk, EDM.com or trndmusik.de to name a few! Beside all of the releases mentioned above, Final DJs produced official remixes for globally-known acts & artists like Goldroom, Marcus Layton, Miss Kittin, Elton John or The Knocks.

Clubs like Kiki Ortaköy (Istanbul/Turkey), MyyyBitch Club (Vienna/Austria), Singerhaus(Basel/Switzerland), Wanderlust (Paris/France) played hosts to the energizing sound of Final DJs.

Also Sebastian crafted dj mixes for well known music blogs and radio stations like Data Transmission (UK), Deep House Radio Moscow or Acid Stag (Australia). All of the mixes have a total reach of over 300.000 plays worldwide.

Basti´s collaboration with Amsterdam Label SOAVE got him attention to a younger audience on Spotify where he already got a solid fanbase with over a million streams.

His music is colorful, funky, discoid with warm chords, guitar vibes and grooves. 80s influenced but fresh at the same time. Combines the best of both worlds – groovy retro vibes with a kiss of the future.

Before the pandemic FINAL DJS started to run his own Nudisco/House event in Stuttgart called "All U Can Dance" in the club MOS EISLEY where he fastly gained a big fanbase with monthly parties.

At the moment hes working on several music projects on different labels and is looking forward to bring back "All U Can Dance" in 2022 somehow.
