Formed in December 2010,The members of Final surrender quickly set into its genre of Progressive Metal-core, something very new to the Indian metal scene.Drawing influences from many bands such as August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, Meshuggah, Texas In July, Textures, Soilwork, Inflames, I The Breather, Killswitch Engage, Extol, Demon Hunter, Zao, The Devil Wears Prada, Haste The Day, Living Sacrifice, Veil Of Maya. Final surrender has managed to find its sound in a very short span. The highly awaited debut album is due to be out in December 2010, something that is going to create a revolution in the Indian metal scene. The band sees
