POET The Band General Bio (June 2025)

Poet the Band is a modern act pushing the boundaries of what a fully independent band can achieve. Based in Bristol, TN/VA, with Detroit, MI, as a second home market, the band formed online two years ago and has since built an empire from the ground up.  

With two self-produced EPs, Death Era and The Prologue, they’ve collaborated with top-tier industry names like Ted Jensen (Bring Me the Horizon, Spiritbox, Kendrick Lamar), Cameron Mizell (Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire, MGK), and Dave Eggar (Coldplay, Evanescence, Avenged Sevenfold) to craft their sound. 

Their work ethic speaks for itself: three national tours, 11 self-directed music videos, and a fully in-house approach to production, booking, and marketing. They operate DIY—but at a major-label level, setting a new standard for what independent bands can achieve.
