So Beautiful

This recording was made in the Vigeland Mausoleum in Oslo, a place known for its incredible acoustics. Here I'm playing the Kamancheh, one of the predecessors of the violin, an ancient bowed string instrument from Persia. I feel that the discovery of that instrument brought me a bit closer to some of the more subtle frequencies I’m reaching for in music. 

While I was playing there was a strong rain shower coming down on the roof of the Mausoleum, and at first I thought that would make the recording useless, but it turned out that the soft rushing of the rain in the background actually added a beautiful high frequency continuo to the music.

Vocals written and sung by Chris George landed on BBC Late Night with Pete Tong, as well as on several national radios like Radio Deejay Italy, Shazam Russia etc. Tracks were played at live DJ Sets by Diplo, Solomun, Spada and Korolova. The ghostwritten song "One Night" by Sander W. feat. Tudor reached 8 Mio streams on Spotify so far. His own project with the latest release "Let You Down" on Berlin based Label Music For Dreamers has thousands of listeners monthly.
In February his collaboration with Spada will be released on dutch label Armada Music.
