    Finding Lucy is an Indie Punk band from Columbia, SC. Influenced by bands such as Go Radio, Mayday Parade, and From Indian Lakes; Finding Lucy has found a balance between Indie and current Pop-Punk Rock. The band has been using these artists to find the sound that they feel will reach the hearts and minds of their listeners.
 
    Finding Lucy started as a hobby for singer Grayson Alexander, but quickly became a reality after Lucy's first tour to Charleston, SC. The band played numerous shows in the Columbia area and became comfortable performing in front of larger crowds. Unfortunately the band was forced into hiatus when multiple members left to attend college. After 6 months the band came back together and played at a festival in downtown Columbia with new bassist Alex Nolan. The band continued to play shows advancing their showmanship, and creativity. Over several months Finding Lucy wrote new and meaningful songs about their time in college and how it affected them personally, and as a band, and shortly after they were ready to take their EP entitled "Long Live the Problem Child" to the studio. The EP was recorded at Archer Avenue Studio with the help of producer Kenny McWilliams. With its release in the winter of 2015 the band has become anxious to spread the word in whatever city they can find.
