This time Nada Flows with SWANASA, who introduces herself: "I am swanasa. My live performance typically lasts up to 45 minutes and is titled "Life... Death... Life". Within that time frame, I try to shape a cohesive narrative. The style is dronish ambient, where field recordings and purely synthetic sounds are always in dialogue. This time the set extended 60 minutes, so I incorporated some of my demo tracks into this work which disrupted the usual structure a bit. Prepare for deep listening—let the sounds unfold naturally. This time, Kafka Temp invites you on a deep and twisted journey into psytechno—CUBEX-style. This exclusive set was recorded in the Biel/Bienne studio shared with Cubex’s production partner and close friend, Eric Schaich. Swiss-born Cubex discovered his passion for electronic music early on and began DJing at 17. His sound evolved through years of performing at local and national events, launching his own event series, and co-founding the Drum & Bass label Perkussiv Music.  In 2010, he stepped back from promoting to focus fully on production. The result? A distinctive fusion of energetic House and Techno with dark, hypnotic atmospheres inspired by Psytrance and Drum & Bass. He defines it as deep and twisted Psy-Techno.  With over 200 tracks released across more than 30 respected labels—including Zenon Records, AlpaKa Musik, Techgnosis, miniMahlzeit, Copycow, and Lethal Dose—Cubex continues to build international recognition, with bookings at festivals and gigs around the globe.

PSY TECH WEDNESDAYS Vol.60 THE FINAL

This episode features AZAMI's first album The Forgotten Mountain. AZAMI is a sound-based exploration of emotional depth, repetition, and rupture, an alter ego moving along the borders of trance, memory, and catharsis. Emerging from Budapest’s underground, she treats music not as entertainment but as a vessel for storytelling and transformation.  Her first release, The Forgotten Mountain, blends dark folk, experimental electronics, and ritualistic soundscapes. It follows a solitary journey through an imagined inner landscape, shaped by layered textures and deep atmospheres. The work also sets a curatorial direction centered on multidisciplinary, synesthetic storytelling—bridging sound, image, and narrative.  Beyond her solo path, AZAMI runs her own label Circling on the Horizon, and is part of the Diatriba (Barcelona) and Shifted Frequencies (Budapest) collectives, as well as one half of the experimental DJ duo AZAMIRMUR. Her artistry is rooted in community, shared experience, and the question of how sound can help us reconnect, both with ourselves and with each other.

Heute präsentiere ich euch einen Helden meiner Jugend. Gabriel Le Mar aus Frankfurt prägte in den 90er maßgeblich den Psy-Dub-Sound. Die Saafi Brothers Scheibe „Mystic Cigarettes“ auf Blue Room Rec. gehört wohl zu meinen meistgehörten Scheiben überhaupt. Ein weiteres grandiose Projekt war Aural Float, das auch maßgeblich am Entstehen der legendären SPACENIGHT beteiligt war. Gabriels Sounds hat sich über die Jahre permanent weiterentwickelt. Dub-Techno, TechHouse, DeepTechno er ist in allen Stilrichtungen zuhause.

Für mich hat er sich entschieden ein flottes technoides Set für den Frühling einzuspielen. Gabriel es ist mir eine riesige Ehre dich in meiner Reihe zu haben. Dank für deine Musik.
