I had the absolute honor of playing two sets at Psytribe's Spring Frequency.  This is the second unexpected/improvised set I jumped in for when there was a hiccup with an artist getting caught in traffic.  I'll post the first one sometime soon. NVU is a project that was launched on Stone Seed, so we are thrilled to welcome back the dreamweaver of the project, Milsy, for an epic mix of all original music on our radiOzora series. This set was recorded at Art Valley Festival in June 2025 and contains fresh and unreleased works, including his upcoming remix of Käse Kochen & Enqrique Lazcano which has its home on Stone Seed. Milad Maleki, aka Harmonic Rush and NVU, is a Dubai-born producer known for blending psychedelic, electronic, and Persian influences into a bold, genre-defying sound. With releases on Armada and Perfecto, and support from Armin van Buuren, he’s earned global recognition. As a skilled remixer, performer, and sound designer, Milad continues to push electronic music forward while staying rooted in his diverse musical heritage.

It’s been an absolute honour for me to join Mo:Dem festival again in 2025. This year, I was allocated an evening slot within a dark progressive session.
Set Time: 21.00-23.00 - Day 1

I did my best to honour the slot while holding integrity and taking risks. My selections explore various parts of my library, ranging from dark prog to an array of sped-up psy-tech and 140-ish hypnotic techno flavours I’ve been delving into recently. I also featured some fresh break-beat and syncopated grooves I’ve been gathering.

I must admit, I didn’t play drums throughout the set as much as usual. This was due to focusing on the mix and trying to harness control. With this being said, there’s still several moments throughout the recording where you can hear me having a slap. It’s a bit sloppy, but hey, we’re out here winging it, and that’s where the magic lies (sometimes).

All in all, I’m happy with the set and believe it’s a good representation of my style within the context of the session. Mo:Dem is the psychedelic mecca!! She is a must-attend event, and my favourite in the world so far <3

You pay attention when industry heavyweights like Sasha and Guy J name check an artist as a potential ‘one to watch'... and Khen is definitely worthy of that.

Through a consistent stream of high quality releases on labels like microCastle, Lost & Found, Sudbeat, Bedrock and Vivrant, the Tel Aviv-native has earned himself a rightful place as an equal in the the group of highly talented artists coming from his home country of Israel (Guy J, Mantzur, Shlomi Aber, Sahar Z). The fans have showed their support too, his ‘One Day of Independence’ debut LP on said Lost & Found went on to peak at number 1 on the Beatport top 100 progressive and overall releases charts. And his tour dairy is becoming increasingly busier, booking requests filtering in from all corners from the globe.

There is a lot to like about this podcast, from his own productions to tracks from artists like past Balance Selections compliers Stelios Vassiloudis, BOg and Guy Mantzur, all flawlessly presented in way that should win over a lot of listeners.
