DJ BLITZ has been a DJ since 1989 when he started putting on local nights in his home town of Bideford North Devon.
he soon joined forces with a couple of mates and moved to London and created the production team known as "Ionosphere". Early in 1992 he discovered break beat hardcore and soon put together the "Hypertension EP"
This EP was featured in the likes of DJ magazine and topped their charts for a few weeks. Some of the claims to fame for this is featuring in seductions legendary NYE set at Fantazia Littlecote house and featured in many sets by the likes of easygroove and lisa and DJ Hype.
Blitz continued to produce a few more EP,s during 92 - 93 but eventually went our separate ways when he moved out of London and now resides on the south coast just outside Bournemouth.
Towards the latter part of 1998 Blitz was very heavily into the hard house and trance scene and featured at many nights along the south coast. Playing for the likes of Cheeky little monkey, soap, Destiny, boshed plus many more....
Due to a young family on the way he decided to take a break from the scene between 2001 and 2011.
In 2011 he noticed the resurgence of the oldskool dj's in the clubs and very glad that he had kept all his old tunes from back in the day decided to come out of retirement and get back into the dj'ing.
This is when he started playing for a local internet radio station called Headrushlive, soon getting a big following every week.
Through this station started playing for Fantazia, Interdance, Totally Underground, Raverlation, Kayotic and Kaos.
Has also played for Fantazia @ 02 Bournemouth, Fantazia @ Bowlers, Fantazia superheros and superheros 2 @ Motion, Moondance 4 life at Hidden Jan  2013 and will be there again in November 2nd 2013, Sundance 2013/  Raindance and is booked for Dreamscape next year. 

DJ Blitz plays mostly Oldskool hardcore and early jungle 1992 1994. But can also play early Belgium techno 1990 - 1991 and hard house and trance from 1999 -2000. the majority of his music is on vinyl but is just as capable using CDJ's....
