Hot R.S was a disco-rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa, running from 1977-1980. They were actually a “phantom band” that was made up of only studio recordings. They had no live performances, and no photos of the band. The name Hot R. S. comes from the acronym House of the Rising Sun.

an exclusive new track by Dutch electronic-disco wizards Kraak & Smaak.

This might be the coolest hotel in our laidback electronic disco-pop land. 
The sound pulsating from its poolside bar is pure Westcoast AOR-Disco - a kind of dreamy Balearic mood with a modern production, tinged with a weird Spaghetti Disco style. 
Imagine the maestro Morricone, laying down a score in a 2020 Los Angeles studio...

Dutch collective Kraak & Smaak are long time colleagues and friends of DJ Supermarkt / Too Slow to Disco. Last year they’ve released their sixth album „Pleasure Centre“, where they recaptured the AOR process perfectly, heading to L.A. to record their album with local guest musicians and singers.
