Black Light Disco returns with the flux capacitor on full tilt and the time circuits super-charged. 

Hosting the show is BLD resident Ste Hendry (Esteban), who was tasked with firing up the Disco Reactor and Centrifugal Funk Chamber for the first hour of the show. For the second hour, we had a very special guest joining us for his debut on the show -  the supremely talented Faz. 

Faz, aka Steve Farrell got the love of house music in the mid 1990s and could be regularly heard playing in venues around Chorley and Blackburn in the North of England. As part of the ‘Edits Presents’ team, Faz has played alongside legendary names such as Dave Lee, Spen, Derek Kaye and K Klass. 

Faz's sets are all about Disco, ReEdits, Energy and fun, and it's no surprise he's landed regular spots in the bars and clubs in Manchester, Leeds and Halifax. More recently, he has dipped his toe into production and featured in Masterworks Vol 4 last year as one part of 'F'Funkin Edits' and is looking forward to releasing more tracks in the very near future. We have been part of the Prime Radio family for a year! To help us celebrate, we have invited fellow discoholic, Ferdinand Debeaufort (F) to help us celebrate in style with some audio champagne! 
Debeaufort began collecting records years back and took to DJing which naturally evolved into some class editing bout 3 years ago. Since then he’s taken his fans by storm with releases on Too Slow to Disco, Slightly Transformed, See-Saw and of course my own Discoholics Anonymous today.  Ferdinand always plays it nice and groovy with a natural flair for incredible selections and fine, fine grooves. Black Light Disco swung back onto the MyHouse Radio airwaves with a show packed to the rafters with knee slappin’ foot tappin’ hifalutin’ good time music. 

Starting things off from behind the BLD Bar and music podium is our resident, Goz - who was serving up the disco punch and giving a two for one offer on the Manhattan Funk cocktails. 

For the second hour of the show we’re delighted to have the one and only Pete Ellison on guest mix duties. 

Pete has been DJ’ing since 1998, earning his stripes playing vinyl and running his own Hard House night. More recently he started a London DJ collective called ‘Serendipity’ who throw underground events and boat parties, with the whole crew typically playing back-to-back all night at their events. 

Pete has had a similar journey to BLD, starting his own weekly broadcast series last year ‘Feel Good Friday Radio Show’ which is growing from strength to strength and has featured some of the biggest names on the Nu-Disco scene as guests. This, ladies and gents, is a corker. A corking corker!

London-based DJ, producer and radio host Even Funkier weaves together Disco, Funk, House, Soul, Boogie, Jazz, Hip Hop and Global delights to create something fresh, irresistibly funky and downright groovy. He plays tunes from across the decades, genres and BPMs, mixing up hidden gems with tried and tested favourites, with a focus on sweet, sweet Disco music brought right up to date for modern dancefloors.

As a DJ he’s taken his trademark rollercoaster genre-fluid sets to locations including Glastonbury, ADE and Westival, playing parties for Midnight Riot, Good Custard, Project Bango, Pineapple Police Horse and DiscNoTheque. And as a producer he’s released on over 20 labels labels including Tropical Disco, Hot Digits, Mango Sounds, The Disco Express, Midnight Riot and TheBasement Discos.
