Traditional tunes, extrapolations thereon, and drone / noise influenced  improvisational pieces for clawhammer banjo and occasional accompaniments. Jacken also organises Betwixt and Between tapes (https://betwixtbetweentapes.bandcamp.com/):  a series of split cassette tapes, each of which pairs Jacken's banjo playing with music contributed by a different artists.

Spectrum/Static is a dingy, dirty,
lo-fi noise punk duo. Most songs are recorded on 4-track cassette giving them their signature tape hiss aesthetic. They have their own DIY 'label' Fuzzed Out Sounds (FOS#)

Huge fan of all things hauntology and pretty much anything on the Ghost Box Records label. I make my tracks up as I go along, using a combination of free sound samples and any other sounds I think might sound weird once good old Paul has Stretched them beyond all recognition. I can't play or read music, and the only instrument I own is a gob iron, and I can't play that. All my efforts are produced solely with Audacity and sound samples.

Experimental layering of field recordings and ambient sounds is interwoven with light and sparkling acoustic guitar melodies. All in all, this results in a very organic sound structure. Great one for headphone listening, as many of Pan, EQ and other effects details are buried deep in the mix. Contemplative, meditative, sunny and peaceful - like a walk in the woods
