A local young gun from an elite bloodline, his potential is matched by his knowledge, understanding and appreciation of incredible music and the culture that surrounds it. One of the founding members of Upstairs/Downstairs crew, a local party series as well as an incredibly curated mix series that runs parallel. A genuinely nice guy on and off the field, his dedication to detail instills hope for the next generation of music lovers and music makers. 

With an essence of maturity and hints of Weatherall and Drexciya, Darcy has delivered a mix that spans beyond his years. Recorded an hour of listening music for WMBR, a student-run community radio station in Boston/USA connected to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The radio has been going since 1946 and has an impressive cd & vinyl collection. This show was recorded live in the studio after my fantastic tour in the americas back in February 2025. Thanks to Will, Rasaaq & Sojourn crew for making this happen. One love.

Super Venus grew up surrounded by dub reggae and 90s trip hop. It shows. Her basslines are daring, detail-driven and full of elegant defiance. She blends unknown gems and hypnotic rhythms, always playing with the unexpected.

An incredibly overdue contribution from a prolific Australian born but Berlin based producer/DJ, @rudolf-c. Rudolf C, co-founder of the incredible @salt-mines label, has been releasing groovy, electro-tinged music into the world since 2015 - over 10 years of consistently impressive tunes. 

Ru is also a committed member of the Berlin music community and DJS regularly throughout Europe. A vinyl boss with the skills & taste only one with over a decade of experience one can acquire - we're lucky enough to showcase one of his recent studio mixes on Animix this week. Glitchy-techy-minimal-dubby, and some sexy acid lines for good measure. A perfect fit for the series.
