ABOUT DRINK

Raised in South-East London, relocating to Bath since(spending days between there and Berlin) Niks Delanancy aka NIKS has become one of the prominent names in the UK club scene today. She is also the founder of Black Artist Data base which is the platform she created to promote Black Artists around the world. Now working on the next stage of B.A.D.’s evolution. The label will be launching to accompany the existing platform, releasing music that aligns with its mission. NIKS will be managing the label as well as acting as A&R. Being raised with a father who was a guitarist in a band and her brother who was an avid music collector in the heyday of London’s garage movement, NIKS has been surrounded with a musical ear all of her life. With an ear that touches from classic deep house to the driving percussive UK stylings of Hessle Audio it doesn't take long to figure out how NIKS' diverse pallet has seen her play clubs all over the world and helped the artist bag a nomination for "Breakthrough DJ of the year" at the Mixmag awards last year as well as seen her knock out mixes for Resident Advisor and The Warehouse Project to name but a few, it's this diversity we see in this club ready mix for Phonica 105. Was machst Buschtanz so besonders für dich? 

"Ich denke was den Buschtanz so besonders macht, ist die Tatsache, dass alle Beteiligten die große Leidenschaft zur Musik und das gleiche Mindest teilen! Den Veranstaltern geht es nicht um Profit, sondern darum, einen Ort zu schaffen, an dem Jeder eine gut Zeit verbringen kann und den sonst oftmals so stressigen Alltag für ein paar Tage hinter sich zu lassen."

Was ist ein Track von dem du momentan nicht genug kriegen kannst? 

"Ein Track, dessen Groove mich aber jedes mal packt und dass, seit Anbeginn der Shabiki Zeitrechnung ist, "Mutants" von JAVIIS und Carbon. "

Volpe is a respected Argentinian techno artist with more than a decade of experience behind the decks. 

With a deep-rooted passion for the sounds of the 90s, he expertly blends dub, Detroit and tribal techno to create a high-energy and immersive experience on the dance floor.

As a long-time resident of Buenos Aires' underground electronic scene, Volpe has established himself as a leading figure in the local techno community, regularly performing at the city's top clubs and parties. He has also gained recognition for his productions, which have been released on esteemed labels such as Frenzy, Sungate, Artaphine and UИCAGE.

His talents have garnered the support of notable figures in the techno scene, including Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, DJ Bone, Rødhad, and many others. 

Volpe is now based in Berlin and continues his international gigs, while he is also preparing his new hardware live set and also launching his own music label. Additionally, he continues to make appearances on leading podcasts and channels.
