Daniel Wilde is a DJ, producer and vocalist whose fingerprints run deep through the fabric of electronic music since the early 2010s.
Known for his unmistakable voice and his instinct for powerful, emotional club moments, he has collaborated with leading artists including Adam Port (Keinemusik), Tiefschwarz, Re.You, Santé, Audiofly, Marcus Meinhardt and many more. His releases span some of the most respected labels in the scene: Souvenir, Mobilee, CLR, Liebe*Detail, Stil vor Talent, 8bit, Supernature, Suruba X and Heinz Music.

As a performer, Daniel has held residencies in Berlin, Barcelona and at the legendary Space Ibiza—joining Afterlife events as part of the duo Confidns. He has taken his sound across Europe and to key hotspots like New York’s Verboten, Miami’s Treehouse and Art Basel, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Watergate, Wilde Renate, Kater Holzig and Club der Visionäre.

His sets are journeys: a daring blend of tech house, techno and vocal-driven cuts, uplifted by surprising twists into indie or pop—always anchored by straight, hypnotic basslines and the pulse of Berlin house with a dubby techno edge. His voice became known to many through Tiefschwarz’s acclaimed Chocolate album, and he further expanded his footprint by writing, singing and co-producing three tracks on Monoloc’s celebrated CLR debut Drift, adding depth and soul to a groundbreaking techno LP.

With tracks like Home, Stones and It’s Time, Daniel made a defining entrance into the deep-house landscape—always connecting stage and floor with raw presence, emotion and unmistakable character. Today, his artistic signature stands for versatility, authenticity and an ability to transform DJ sets into stories.

Ahmed Tohmé and Daniel Kminek are widely known as artists and local party heroes in the Rhein-Neckar Metropolitan Region’s electronic nightlife and have made a lasting impact on its sound and development over the years. One as a DJ and younger part of the Tohmé Brothers, the other one as a producer and drummer in countless live acts. As legend has it, the two of them met each other when simultaneously pressing some DJ during an afterhour, because they wanted to find out the name of the track which drove the crowd insane. Intense investigations resulted in the realization that said song had been produced by themselves. However, none of them remembered doing any of it. It was the very instant of this sudden epiphany, when Fint was born! 
	Hidden from daylight, locked from the public eye and by the sweat of their brows, the two of them have produced hell for leather during the countless non-stop recording sessions which have followed since then. Besides their talent and extraordinary taste for good music, it’s probably this extreme working environment that has to be credited especially for their high value of brand recognition and absolutely unique sound. As the Scandinavian name “Fint” already tells, this addressed sound is usually nice and positive, yet sometimes spiced up with a slightly over-chilled arctic groove - best compared to a rave in a glacier cave, 
maybe. Peak-time, obviously - polar bears and powder snow included!

Do the Limbo

If the fact, that people call you “Limbo” is too intimate, be free to feel warmly welcomed in the private life of Techno artist Kai Limberger. As a co-founder of the labels Gymnastique and Avancee, which he founded together with two friends in 2010, the agile and humorous man is everything you need for a stunning Techno party.

Based and grown up in the beautiful city of Heidelberg, Germany, Kai encountered all kinds of german Techno scene from the very beginning. He discovered what it meant to be part of the old school Techno family when he hang out in worldwide infamous clubs like Frankfurt’s “Omen” in the days when Techno music was an all weekends feeling of a big hug on everybody. This is the spirit you nowadays still can feel on the dancefloor when he is playing and – whether his set is straight bumping Techno or floating TechHouse on that night – he seems to hug everyone around in the location he is playing. It is an honest and romantic feeling of deep love to the deep roots of moving and behaving like you’d never do in your workday life.

Playing as a local resident hero around the delta of Heidelberg and Mannheim over a longer period, he decided to go on not just with DJing but producing tracks himself relatively late. After two times of co-founding, he self-created the label Autark Records in 2011, for whose productions you can find Kai in his home studio most of the time.

The thing going on between Rampa & Re.You could be called a synergy or joint venture or plain and simple the answer to the question what ideally can happen when two nationally and internationally sought after producer/DJs make common cause. Seeing RAR live once will show: the plan works out. This joint live-venture evolved as a consequence of previous studio works both accomplished together. “Work” on Keinemusik as their first collaboration remains irresistible to this day. “The Track” on Gigolo, “Yeah Yeah Yeah” on Cocoon plus their “La Mezcla”-remix on Strictly Rhythm and others followed up shortly.

On a stage, they’ll draw from exactly that backcatalogue, but also from the ongoing list of solo- and collective projects and they’ll assemble this material more cohesively and urgently than any DJ-set could measure up to. They’ll edit their source material on the fly, push it through effect units, match it and decorate it accordingly to the requirements of the night. As a result, they deliver euphorically received and more than vivid sets, placed between elegant deepness and unrestrained excess, never losing sight of the peaktime-curve.

The moniker under which the unmistakable RAR-sound can be accessed is known as aRARthing. Read the bold letters as the obvious acronym of both protagonists or, to get straight what this is all about, as the abbreviation of Rugged And Raw. Everything happening under this label and corporate name is focused on the essential: the music. 

aRARthing is a vinyl only label. No artworks. No intermediate fooling around. Just Techno – hard, direct and dirty. Letting streetsmartness be their guide for picking the right samples and arrangements is a must when executing the evident mantra: Oh baby, I like it RAR.

In a world of ever recycled trends, Tiefschwarz (deep black) is that most classic of shades. Its timeless style is testament to its staying power, and with a DJ and production career spanning over 14 years, this German deep house duo have proven just how apt a moniker can be. Born and bred in Stuttgart, brothers Ali and Basti Schwarz’s passion for techno and deep house flourished their initial experience as DJs in the early 90’s at the now legendary clubs that Ali ran in their home town, ON –U and Red Dog. This led to the formation of Tiefschwarz in 1997, from which they found rapid success with their debut single ‘Music’ (on Francois K’s Wave Music label) and album Ral 9005. By 2001, this had been licensed to the London label Classic Recordings from where they springboarded to international recognition. They decided to make the move to Berlin, at the time fast becoming the epicentre of a true electronic music renaissance, from where they pursued a hectic touring schedule and remixing the likes of Cassius, The Rapture, Missy Elliott, Kelis and their personal heroes Masters At Work. They then scored a double whammy with their all-conquering crossover hit remix of Spektrum’s ‘Kinda New’ and the single ‘Isst’ off their 2005 long-player, ‘Eat Books’. This was also the year that electrohouse dominated the charts and minimal the clubs, but Tiefschwarz have never allowed themselves to be tied down to a certain sound, staying true to their love of melody as demonstrated on their contribution to the Fabric mix series that year.
A series of high profile mixes in 2006, including Depeche Mode, Madonna, Roxy Music, Booka Shade, Phonique, Plastikman, dOP, and many others saw them continue perfecting their distinctive sound. Yet this was also the year in which Ali and Basti gravitated back to Berlin to found their own label, Souvenir. Basti explains “We like the idea of seeing music as a souvenir, an impression you take from somewhere. Something intimate that you remember”. They haven’t let this slow down their impressive production workload though, with a ten year anniversary compilation and a 2010 follow up album ‘Chocolate’ made in collaboration with Santé, and featuring Cassy, Seth Troxler, Dave Aju amongst others. At a perfect time to take stock of their career, the brothers are proudly contributing the ninth installment in the Watergate mix series, and have chosen a number of tracks that simultaneously pay homage to the tracks that shaped the beginnings of their career whilst also remaining very much forward looking. After years of constant touring, however, their Souvenir label has allowed them to lay down more permanent roots back in Berlin. It’s a place to foster talent, both young and old, not only in a sense of releasing records but also as a platform to share mutual experiences within a common network, a close core of artists work together including Ruede Hagelstein, Maher Daniel, the brothers Santé and Re.You, Ali &amp; Basti at the helm. With plenty more artists on the roster as well as a digital only subsidiary, Souvenir Plus, and a debut LP from Hagelstein on the horizon, there is promise of plenty yet to come for the Schwarz brothers’ imprint.
