My opening set recorded live at dance:love:hub Xmas Party 2021 - our first party in almost exactly two years after the COVID hiatus. A new venue in West London (Maxilla Hall in Latimer Grove) and, fortunately, most of our faithful crowd, although on the day we were gutted to find that two of our residents (Oli N-Kore and Steve Birch) were unable to play due to COVID so there were voids to fill. Our remaining residents, Jon Cockle and Facade, and two guests, Joe Byrne and Paul van Nukem did us proud and took the roof off as we partied like it was 2019.

Big thanks to Danny Stopani for the inspiration on a couple of these tracks (I highly recommend his Premedicated Music series which you can find here on Soundcloud) and to my favourite melodic techno producer, Alfonso Muchacho for making some killer tracks over lockdown.

Opening set at the ever-excellent PSYMERA. Banging Funktion-One sound, great line-up and an always-up-for-it crowd (starved of psytrance by COVID for most of the last two years!) made this a special return to mixing full-on psy.

This is a reconstruction of my set at Blissmas Wonderland! Such a beautiful evening spent in the company of truly lovely people. The spiritual journey started with Feather's ambient sounds, chakra opening with The Consciousness Collective and partaking of the Sacred Cacao. Ecco, Spindean and Breadsauce brought us up a notch with some beautiful progressive psychedelic beats...and Dwain Damage and I rounded the night off with something a bit more pumping! Mark Charles has been behind the decks for two decades and, as you'd expect has a varied and eclectic taste in music, influenced by the original trance sound in the late nineties and now more at home with progressive grooves from the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J. After a break to focus on his day job he is now back hard at it on the decks and, more recently, has been experimenting in the studio. The first two hours of my opening set at TRANCElucid (Club 414, Brixton) recorded live and unadulterated! It came after a full day spent celebrating dance:love:hub's 5th Birthday at The Egg, in conjunction with Trance Sanctuary and Trancecoda. My t-shirt was salt-rimed from working up a sweat on the dancefloor at this amazing day party and I was absolutely buzzing to play for two and a half hours at TRANCElucid. The mixing may not be perfect but the dancefloor was bouncing and I had a whale of a time in the booth. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

This was a very special party with special guest appearances from Airwave and The Digital Blonde. I set the scene for our talented resident Jon Cockle who teed everything up nicely for an absolute blinder of a progressive / techno set from the maestro, Airwave. The party finished thunderously with a brilliant performance from The Digital Blonde. It was one of our most successful parties to date and I would highly recommend finding DJ Jon Cockle's set, which was such perfect preparation for the headliners. My opening set from dance:love:hub's incredible 7th Birthday party at Five Miles, London on June 15th 2019.

I had the pleasure of warming up a brilliant crowd at our brand new venue and setting the scene for what was to follow; outstanding sets by our resident, Jon Cockle, our special guest Jamie Baggotts, headliner Daniel Lesden and topped off perfectly by our rotating resident N-Kore.

PSYMERA Summer Boat Party 2019

This is a live recording of my set at the magnificent Tribal Village, the long-established and renowned London Psy & Underground night. Massive production, amazing art and lovely, lovely people. I opened the Tribal Floor (with dance:love:hub also hosting the Village Floor) and there was wall to wall amazing music all night long. It's the best party to catch up with friends after a summer of festivals and forests. It didn't disappoint and it was a real honour to be involved with some massive names on the line-up including Mandala, Endeavour, JourneyOM and Cimi, to name just a few.

Live at Psyology

Here's my set from the fantastic dance:love:hub Xmas Party at Five Miles in Tottenham, London (28th December 2019). It was a full 12 hours of music heaven, surrounded by lovely people and stunning artwork and I have to admit to being absolutely shattered by the end. Every single DJ smashed it and I couldn't stop dancing from 3pm until about 2am, when my legs finally gave out; it was an honour to be on the decks with my fellow residents and our excellent guests. My set was the bridge between the techno /prog and the psytrance from 9-10:30pm. Enjoy!

FIN Octopus Trance Radio Guest Mix

Started mixing back in 2002 with a pair of belt-driven Geminis and a 2-Channel Numark, and learnt to play the hard way at after-party sessions, plugged into a wide-screen television! A few thousand hours of obsessive playing and tinkering later (and a few equipment upgrades)...

Over the last few years: rotating resident at dance:love:hub and a variety of gigs: The Butterfly Effect, Tribal Village, SecretSoma, UFO/Unique Tribe, Psyrhythmix, PSYMERA, J00F Editions, Planet Angel, Trancelucid, Inertia (Brighton), Transcend and Psyology (Birmingham).

A sound that blends a love of  melodies with darker-edged underground sounds, playing a range of styles and genres from atmospheric and progressive techno, through progressive house and underground trance to progressive and full-on progressive psy.

Having a bit of hiatus at the moment due to becoming a daddy...may be back in a year or two! :D
