Devastated by Gildor's failed attempt to help her escape from the castle, Raewyn begins her own search for freedom. She discovers a small lever set into the wall in the far corner of the tower. As she pulls the lever, a hidden door opens creakily and she finds herself in a dark passage, water dripping from the roof. The end of the passage opens up into a large cavern, with a mysterious golden light shining in the distance - A Portal! But does it lead to good or evil?

"Rays of Summer Sun" 

Here is a small summer-related excercise I played the other day using my old Korg SGProX as a midi keyboard! Everything except the brass was created using sounds from the wonderful UVI Emulation+ virtual synthesizer (representing the lovely hardware sounds of the E-mu Emulator, Emulator II, Emulator III and Drumulator). The brass is from the UVI JP Legacy/Saturn-6 (cf. Jupiter 6).

Dear friends, The wars have become worse!! Now it is the 17:th of November 2024! How will it end?
I'm stubborn and will post anti-war songs as long as wars occur!! Maybe I have to keep going until I die!! I really hope not!
The picture is from my University in Lund, Sweden where I studied and where I got my doctors examen.
My Rap idol "Timbuktu" has today (26/5 2023) been appointed an honorary doctorate at Lund University! Wow!

This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. I remember when I first began participating in the SoundCloud community, I would always eagerly anticipate a new GWOTF track, especially because I grew up in Oakland California. Short songster song about loneliness in the city I wrote 20 years ago.

Now I've given a jazzy feel in 6/4 to the unique strophe which has only chords E & Em, transitioning to 4/4 rhythm towards the unique 'refrain' line, with up to 3 different chords!

All but drums are 'organic' tracks: bass, pocket sax, guitars and voice.

At home producer of electronic tracks in varying styles - I really enjoy experimenting with melding different genres. 
Been writing songs since the mid 70's whilst playing bass & drums in various bands (the first one was a punk band) and digitally writing since 2006. Retired now, so much more time for having fun with music :) It's just a hobby for me these days; Soundcloud is just a great place to share music & connect with people who have the same interests.
