This is Chapter 5 of our Elvenland saga. Hope you enjoy :)

As Raewyn ventures along the dark tunnel towards the Portal, she seems to hear whispered warnings echoing around her. Despite her trepidation, she slowly enters, but not before calling on the Ancient Ones to guide her through.

Inside the entrance she encounters the evil & terrifying Tresur Heldros, The Master of the Abyss and, as he speaks, she can hear the wails and laments of tortured souls who ventured there before her. 

However, Raewyn's Elven faith is unconquerable, and, as she bravely prepares to meet whatever fate awaits her, she remembers her ancient teachings.

Chained in a cave by the abyss, she patiently waits....

Had an idea a few days ago for a dream sequence where a dearly departed woman appeared to her lover in his sleep, so I sent it to my awesome buddy & synthmeister John Buckle for ideas.

In addition to adding his glorious synths, he was also majorly instrumental (excuse the pun lol) in the creation & production of the finished track.
 
Note: I purposely heavily processed the vocal to give the impression of a ghostly voice.

This is the lead track from the set of songs that I began with Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the turmoil and chaos brought upon by the pandemic. This is also the first part of four tracks within the album directly based on Wou-Wou’s comic, The Shrike. It has been incredible working with Bitzone and Stricknice throughout the project as well. It is always cool when the everyone in the stag heard works well togehter and brings distinct yet complimentary ideas to the mix. Nature has a way of quickly shaking off the traumas of the past and returning to its most basic of desires. You see, all of life yearns to mate and procreate, and while most that experience defeat from the stronger or rejection from those seeking the fitter, muster the determination to get back up again, some take their spurning to heart, as if they were more deserving than nature intended, where it festers and begins to grow a new grotesque life of its own.

Hey everyone. 2024 is coming. I sincerely hope that it will be a good year for everyone. I uploaded my performance of this song here because I wanted my friends to know that the gut strings on my electric acoustic guitar have finally calmed down. The strings have become accustomed to the guitar and I no longer hear any squeaks. Do not you think so? 

I chose this song because it's one of the songs I always play when tuning my guitar. Just set the capo on the 7th fret and play a simple chord like D, G, A7 or D, G, E and you're done. I'm a beginner when it comes to nylon string guitars, so this would be the perfect song for me to try out. I would like all of you who are practicing guitar to take this opportunity to master it. Also, I recently learned that this work, one of The Beatles' works, became the most listened to song of The Beatles' works on Spotify in 2021. It's a work that is popular all over the world.

When I listened to the recorded version myself, I was surprised at how simple it was, with no drums or bass, just a nylon string guitar solo. Should I play it again later with a pick and re-record it, or should I play it very slowly and re-record it, or should I change the position of the capo tasto and change the key of the performance? I had a lot of hesitation, but I decided to leave it as is, thinking that this was a record of me practicing to get used to playing the nylon string guitar and sharing it with you all. In other words, rather than getting confused at this stage, if you could sing along with this recording out loud, the weakness of this recording being too simple and lonely would be quickly overcome. I realized that it would be better to move on to the next step as soon as possible. So, I started thinking that my next step would be to try playing this nylon string guitar along with someone's amazing vocals on SoundCloud.

El pozo de tu amor (Caí por ti)

At home producer of electronic tracks in varying styles - I really enjoy experimenting with melding different genres. 
Been writing songs since the mid 70's whilst playing bass & drums in various bands (the first one was a punk band) and digitally writing since 2006. Retired now, so much more time for having fun with music :) It's just a hobby for me these days; Soundcloud is just a great place to share music & connect with people who have the same interests.
