Here’s my piano/harp/orchestrated arrangement combining Luna and Noctis theme from FFXV, with middle transition of *a familiar theme* from Kingdom Hearts :3 Yoko Shimomura’s compositions are so incredibly gorgeous and touching. Both themes capture the essence of each character so, so perfectly… Luna. The elegance and starlight. Noctis. Tragic but beautiful.

Hey all, I'm attempting to compose on a weekly basis (we'll see how long this streak lasts, heh) because I'm totally in love with the concept of #sketch_dailies on Twitter, and apparently #tunesday already exists as a thing... so I thought to myself, "why not at least give this a try?"

AND THEN SUDDENLY, Nautilus T Party (Brian Diamond) tosses all of these amazing ideas at me, including "let's compose music based on art and/or quotes with an overarching theme", and I was so inspired by his enthusiasm that I couldn't refuse his offer!

While composing, Plini and Reign of Kindo came in mind... (and Breath of the Wild's OST probably influenced this track as well) so I decided to experiment with a more textural aesthetic while still retaining the motif introduced in the beginning. I think overall, it turned out to be a bit more energetic/excited than I expected it to be in the 2nd half... but for starters, it still sounds pretty good to me!

3. Compounding The Problem

Posted as part of Video Game Music Academy's 21 Days of Composition challenge.
Day 3 - Today I wrote a piece from the melody down.  Keeping with the chill music vibe I've been feeling the past couple days.  I also incorporated Quest Log 3 - The Trinity.  The goal was to write a melody that used only three unique pitches within the same octave.

Here is my day 3 song, I didn't have time to compose so I went with a short sound design idea based off what it would be like to travel through a black hole! (At least, my interpretation of it)
