Xavi - Stand Tall

It's been too long.

I've been prohibitively busy over the last 18 months and I just haven't been able to work on as much music as I would have liked to during that time. What I have worked on has mostly consisted of shorter sketches and ideas that aren't fully fleshed out.

However, I've recently realized how much I miss the feeling of creating and sharing my stuff. I don't want my relationship with music to revolve around some abstract idea of perfection that I will never realistically attain. I want to remove the notion that everything I post on here needs to have a sense of polish, because I value creating music more than that. 

So, I'm going to be taking a different approach to this account. From here on out, I'm going to post anything I make that I feel resonates with me or represents my relationship with music at a particular moment in time, regardless of how long, short, polished, raw, or abstract it may be. My hope is that this will become more of a musical journal than a true coherent project, and that I will be able to better convey what I value in music. 

It may be slightly rough around the edges, but I miss finding joy in creating more than I fear a lack of structure with my projects. That said, I appreciate those of you who listened to, shared, and supported the two tracks I have on here from a few years back. I still value the work I put into them and what ideas I was exploring at the time, but I want my relationship with my projects to evolve with me from this point forward without feeling the need to refine every idea to its logical conclusion. 

It's gonna be a little bit of an exploratory period for me that may include name changes, weird experiments, and a whole lot of inconsistency, but I hope you find value in what I share here.
