It's my very first composition. I wrote this when I was 16. Over 30 years later, it still feels just as young, while I feel less so.
I was never able to finish this song because of a computer bug. The guitar solo, in particular, was temporary. After losing all the files, I couldn't find the motivation to start over.

This version of Fake Friend is made truly in the spirit of "Fire Jam Band".  Fire Jam was always a Friday and Saturday night gathering of whoever decided to show up to play or listen. With 3 collaborators on this song, my only regret is that we couldn't get together to record it in person because we scattered across the planet..
