Pedro Matias is Exolon aka DJ Fluxo, one of the pioneer psytrance artists from Portugal, co-founder of the Quest4Goa collective and co-creator of the party and festival scene in Portugal that has been going on for two decades. Besides that, Pedro has other side projects, such as Chilled C'Quence and Uasca. His journey took him all the way to incredible gatherings such as Boom Festival, Hadra Festival, Dream Gathering, Sonica Festival, ZNA Gathering, Infected Festival, in countries like Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Spain and Hungary, to mention some. Den siebzehnten Podcast feuert euch heute

➼ Unchained Senses 

um die Ohren. Er hat für uns einen dicken 170 BPM Brecher aufgenommen - schnallt euch besser an! 

Der 21-jährige Yannick Claaßen, aka Unchained Senses, begann im Alter von circa 15 Jahren Techno/Hardtechno für sich zu entdecken und entwickelte seinen Geschmack sehr schnell auch in die Harder Styles Richtung.
Mit 16 stand er das erste Mal bei einem Kollegen hinterm DJ Pult und fand schnell Gefallen daran selbst zu spielen. Mit 17 dann legte er sich den ersten eigenen Controller zu und übte zu Hause, bis er durch einen Bekannten zu seinem ersten Gig im „Ellement“ in Lahr kam.
In den Jahren darauf folgten Bookings als Hardcore und auch mal als Techno Act im „Ellement“ Club Lahr, „MTW“ Offenbach, „Bogen 2“ in Köln, „Hans Bunte Areal“ Freiburg und auch schon im „Kili Berlin“, bei uns in der Hauptstadt. 
Seit Anfang 2019 konzentriert er sich fast ausschließlich auf Techno und Hardtekk, begann selbst zu produzieren und Ende 2019 kam dann der komplette Wechsel zu Techno & Tekk.
Aktuell ist Unchained Senses Resident bei: „Digital Destruction“, „VollKross Techno“, „Dark Spirit“ und bei „Eternal Darkness Rec.“.

In 2017 he started DJing under a different name and many different electronic genres. In 2018 he was able to start right away with around 50 gigs in Berlin, and developed his own style.

In mid-2020, he decided to only play Techno, and has already signed releases with labels worldwide. His style is melodic, driving and dark, and he also runs his own podcasts series, PSCR Podcasts.

Do you know that feeling?

When there is a tangible connection between the audience and the artist, this huge vibe that happens when the artist sends out energy that the audience picks up on, amplifies, and sends back? This huge cycle of positive madness? This Fire that exists between us…

My guess is you do know that feeling. I sure do, and I know Fire does. In one of our first conversations, before I even called him Fire, he told me about this feeling. He told me about going to see Underworld, he told me about teaching drums to kids with autism. He told me about producing HipHop beats, playing the drums in a Punkrock n’Roll band and he told me about Technics turntables in dusty attics.

Now I always knew this was one musical kid but man since we decided to call him Fire he decided to make that name mean something.
This guy produces, DJ’s, does hybrid live sets and frequents radio shows, sometimes to speak his mind but mostly to be silent and let the music do the talking. We found him at more and more festivals these years besides his usual late-night sets at various underground clubs in Utrecht and Amsterdam.

"Bitonal Creatures" (StoKed, Fire bewteen us - CODEX Recordings) hit the Beatport Techno Top 100 early 2021 and stayed there for a full month. Fire's other collab with StoKed, "Girl With the Red Hair" (IAMT) rocked the charts late 2020, and before that Fire between us, Kepp - Angelic System (Minitech Recordings) was up there for a full month early summer.
As part of the Minitech Recordings team you can find Fire between us frequenting their label nights and releasing on the label. 

Fire between us is Techno. Wonderful, up-tempo solid techno full of emotion. Techno that never gets dull or boring, but rather plays with your mood and leaves you exhausted and energized at the same time.
