Kosha Di SoJah is a Jamaican Born singer, songwriter, composer, and producer

Given the name David N. Mcneish in 1989,
Kosha Di SoJah developed the love for music at an early age
having written his first song at the age of 6. 
This knack was further developed by his mother, 
an aspiring musician herself, who fully supported his talent and encouraged him to strive for greatness.
by age 8 he had extensive performance and studio experience from working 
with the late Sugar Minott and his Youthman Promotions.
In 1998 having performed on the popular tastee talent show and placing 5th,
his mind was made up and the stage was set for a carreer in music.

Fast forward to 2008, having completed Jamaica College and 
going on a life changing experience abroad,
Kosha returned to Mona in St. Andrew 
with a dollar And a dream to build his own studio.
Becoming the "man of the house" after 
the death of his father that year further compounded the need 
and drive for success in music. In 2009 he met 
Jermaine "Tu' finga" Parchment from deadline sound who at the 
time had decided to invest in establishing a record label 
and after hearing a few new songs decided Kosha would be his first artiste.
This record label later became Deadline Recordz.

With the completion of the studio in Kingston and the establishment of Deadline Recordz,
the 'Sojah from Mona' started his recording career with the song "Leave Me Lonely" on the New Day Riddim Produced By "tu' finga" which was selected
by Sirrus XM 'Top Reggae Jamz Playlist'in 2014.
This was followed by Tracks like "Peice A Mi", "One Life" and more recently "Bun it", this after changing his moniker from 'Kosha' to 'Kosha Di SoJah'

In 2013 having met 'Treviq' and forming a trio along with his yonger brother 'Jaziii' called "Islandboi", 
Kosha di Sojah persued the creation of "Island boi Recordz" and in 2015 the record label was born.
Having forged a successful career in Local Radio as a professional Recording/Broadcast studio engineer, 
Kosha faught to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to fill the demands of the Entertainment industry.
Since then he has produced tracks such as "Sharp & Bebble" and most recently "Runaway" ft. Shivaun both of which will feature on his upcomming 
compilation "Island Boi".

Though not being very religious, Kosha di Sojah is a firm beleiver in the powers of the Most High. 
When asked why he does it he responds; "My music is joy and sorrow, releif and strain, terror and bliss, to nuff people, 
its an expression dat connects my heart with another person and even with the most high, 
*Laughter* yes I think God loves my music...Growing up I was greatly influenced by Bob Marley, Sizzla Kalonji and people like Ini Kamozi and Garnet Silk.
with that said, I'm also a lover of music From Pavarotti and Linkin park, from Eminem to Enya, from Mighty Sparrow to Kool & The Gang. 
For me is spiritual thing 'uzimmi', cant live without it"
