Piano Extremist (also known as Pianist Maidanu) is a project by a man of legend, who became famous after his performances on the Maidan during the Revolution of Dignity.
   In 2014, he played “Nuvole bianche”, a piece of music by Ludovico Einaudi, for the first time on Khreshchatyk Street. He was wearing a balaclava and a bulletproof vest. On YouTube at that time his video received more than 500,000 views, now two million, and it became a musical symbol of the Maidan.
  In the autumn of the same year, together with the “Dnipro-1” battalion, he visited the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone and launched an ATO tour under the slogan: "We will protect those who protect us!". He traveled mainly in central and eastern Ukraine, visiting more than 45 cities with charity street concerts.
At the end of 2018, the pianist released his first album "Protection of Free Hearts" and visited a number of Ukrainian cities, presenting it and already working on the completion of the second album.
  He always wears a balaclava during his performances.
