It was the first night at Burning Man 23, we lighted up the Loophole and you could see the bikes coming to the light like flies. We could feel the fresh energy of the people. The massive Axoltol Artcar came and stopped in front of the installation. So we had the dancefloor running and pepole dancing to the beats of the 40.000W soundsystem. Surprise, the AXO DJ asked me if I wanted to play in the car, wow! I quickly grabbed my bike and went to the tent to get my laptop, and then I had to improvise a DJ set there for a couple of hours which was super exciting and fun. What an amazing start of the Burn! Massive thank you to Axolotl crew for building such an incredible piece of art and love on wheels.

Some of the best classic trance from the late 90s and 2000s, masterfully remixed and given new life. I've been working on this set for three years, collecting these amazing remixes, and finally got to play it at Lakes of Fire, a regional Burning Man Event in June of 2019.  I don't think I've ever been as happy.

Magnum Opus

Raised in the grimy rave scene of Central Florida USA during the early 2000s, FIRETURK cut his teeth on turntables on top of makeshift tables made of construction equipment, power by cheap generators, phat pants, and at least one instance of running from law enforcement with all of his records. 

While living in Detroit, he ran into someone with an underground radio station, and began bring his funky breaks stylings to a new audience.  His debut drew the highest ratings the station had in years.  That catapulted him back into the scene, playing underground shows all over Detroit. He’s also played on large commercial radio stations such as WFHR in Detroit, WMNF in Tampa, and played his first eight stage festival in the midwest.  He’s experienced the magic of playing on top of large Burning Man Art Cars and even a firetruck.
