When record store owner Jeff Bubeck buys an old record collection out of an abandoned storage unit, he has no idea what he’s stumbled across. Jeff learns the collection once belonged to the late great J Dilla, one of the greatest hip hop producers of all time. Along with the thousands of LP’s from Dilla’s personal collection, there is something else that is uncovered, something huge. . .

the first remix i made from scratch using ableton live and the acapella for "One Day" by UGK in jan,'08.

Next up for Lost records is this bouncing 5 track EP from Brazilian duo Drunky Daniels. They dived in to our A&R radar with their breakthrough release ‘Bump In Yo Stereo’ at the start of the year. We’re now thrilled to have them on board. First up is a neat collaboration with Mateus B, aptly titled Bad Boy Boogie. This one’s a driving tech house vibe with a killer vocal stab and whopping drop. This is complimented by an amazing remix by Solc who brings his trademark bass and groove to the track.

Breakdown is a tougher messy affair with solid drum arrangement, some spaced out special fx vocals and a rolling bassline throughout. This one is the stand out dancefloor track for us. Cera Alba’s Lost Warehouse Mix is an immaculate percussion heavy number adding another slice of deepness for those after hour party occasions.

Bassriders showcases clever preparation of more dubby sounds layered with a jacking bassline. This rocking beat is rounded off with a devious vocal sample, which is set to ride the bass expertly on the likes of Funktion Ones worldwide.
