Got You Last

"Drive" is the last song from my album "Long Night Drive". It is a tribute song to the movie of the same name that starred Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. 

The song opens with a piano and string section that evokes a feeling of farewell and moving on.

The dark electronic vibes capture the essence of this album and the movie too. It gives off a feeling of traveling somewhere in the night and making your way through the darkness to effectively find the light/reach your destination.

The synths are warm and evocative. The beat is a simple retro one that builds up in layers as the track proceeds and reaches it's crescendo.
