Oingo Boingo - Remember My Name. From the sessions for their 1987 LP "Boi-ngo".

It's one of their best unreleased/unrecorded songs, to this day the only version that exists is a low quality demo that the absolute mad person that is "Oingo Boingo Tapes" on YouTube, uploaded earlier this year. It was a slightly better recording than the previous upload, but not high enough quality for me to feel comfortable playing at an event.

Soooo I just spent the past few hours attempting to clean it up by layering in new drum elements to accentuate the existing muffled drums. And tweaking the EQ and dynamics of the demo recording. And I came up with this.
