Franke Madsen (Koxbox/Saikopod) and Jakob Rishi (Rishi), collectively known as IRIDIAN, received rave reviews for their EP 'Unexpected Visitors' released on TIP at the end of last year.
Whilst most people struggled through lockdown, these two prolific gentlemen have been churning out a wonderful array of intricately crafted tunes that has all of us at TIP HQ super excited.
AAKAASHA is an album of delightful freshly cut gems with immense character, powerful funky baselines and extremely psychedelic melodies and soundscapes.

Label manager Lucas O'Brien had this to say about Aakaasha.. 'It's been a long time since I've been this excited about an album/artist. Fire is a means to set the atmosphere to communicate, to create receptivity, to transcend limitations, and to touch another dimension that you can refer to as the Divine or God or whatever you want to call the source of creation.Agni has the properties of Roopa (Sight, Vision) and Sparsha (Touch). Rupa is a natural property of Agni.

Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2017 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died ;)

This eighth mix is about 1999, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!). Like usual, a serious challenge! All styles are captured in 1 mix... Hopefully it sounds like a good story! :) The next mix will be about 2000! :) So, have a look, a listen, download it and make sure to buy the music if you like it!
