The life of Trellanie can be summed up into one word that is “music”. Trellanie was born to a family of music, her late father, Harry R. Butler Sr. being a musician and her mother Carolyn Butler being a singer. She is the third born of seven children which most posses their own musical abilities also.. Born into a family with strong spirituality and a background in music she was sure to emulate the successes of her parents while also venturing out to one day create her own path. At the age of only two years old it was evident that she was born a singer. Trellanie would be put on a chair for the whole crowd to see her worship and praise unto God with boldness and sincerity that would move the entire congregation. From that moment there was a clear view of her true calling and the whole world would one day witness her and destiny to meet face to face.

Through the years Trellanie began traveling around the world with her parents as her father dedicated numerous years to the ministry of music. Her father being a representative for the Gospel Music Workshop Of America allowed her to witness such diverse personalities and music genres within gospel music. She began to travel and see the world in a brand new light and began to meet many different people and learn so much about the industry very early in her youth. Acquaintances, new friends and family were intrigued and shocked at her ability to hear music and catch on to any song she would hear. She began to teach vocals parts and leading very early in her young years. Her father believed very strongly in her ability and knew that she would one day stand before the throne of God and re-dedicate her gift. 

Trellanie's vocal texture and creative ability has been heard and felt by so many. She has been called on for background opportunities to sing behind many artists, to name a few, Vickie Winans, Chaka Khan, Kelly Price, R Anthony (NBC's The Voice, currently). She has also recorded and performed live for local artists and friends, Sherri Dyson, Charles Taylor & UIP and Warren Davis! The list continues and will extend as God continues to open many doors for Trellanie and Trellgurl Ministries.
