Playground attacks again, this time with 3 originals from the Venezuelan, Berlin based, Alejandro Molinari plus 3 remixes by Mijo, Middle Sky Boom and Teniente Castillo featuring Skelesys. An Ep loaded with mysterious voices, rocker beats and dark landscapes.

The Israelite Middle Sky Boom takes 'Kann Dich Heilen' for the first remix of this release. Everything starts with a female voice overdubbing the original voice supported by a pad of percussions. Suddenly the bassline enters alongside acid touches of flying synths. A chorus of voices starts to sing a hypnotic mantra with epic sounds behind. Crazy sounds invades the track, all is madness.

@PlaygroundRecords returns with 3 fresh originals from the Venezuelan, Berlin based, @AlejandroMolinari supported by a stellar 3 remixes from Mijo, Middle Sky Boom and @TenienteCastillo featuring @Skelesys. An Ep loaded with mysterious voices, rocker beats and dark landscapes.

The first track of this launch is 'Kann Dich Heilen', groovy, dark, trippy and freak. A fat bassline walk all around the track, walk in a journey through an Arabic desert marked by hypnotic synth which works as a pad for a voice who follow as during this pleasurable trip.

With the second track 'Rodeo', the things gets serious, the trip becomes tough, the deserts is transformed in concrete. Fog in cold streets. Boots and leathers jackets are around the corner. A snare hits hard. A melancholic voice appears. The rock is here.

Teniente Castillo invited Skelesys to join on his remix and when that happens the result never fails, and this is no exception. Percussion accompany a cool bassline until guitars appear to convert the landscape in a rock and roll ritual. The voices are displaced in the background but still do not stop providing mystery.

PREMIERE - Leo af Ekenstam -March (Local Suicide & Time to Sleep Remix) (Play Pal)

Playground Records starts 2021 without missing a beat. The ever-expanding Radial Gaze duo from Russia makes their debut on the label, loaded with frenetic rhythms, acid tribality and strident synthesis.
The first installment is the track 'Oracular Punch'. A rhythm of stabbing percussion that chases the response of some deity. As if following a rite with rising voices and dramatic modulations they ask the Pythoness to give an answer to the questions that are sought.

'Truly Wasted' is the second track and it doesn't lose momentum. Relentless with a great bouncing kick, sinister bass and acid melodies, sensual modulations go in an increase until exploding in a dense sonic layering. The melodies in Asian scales are getting sharp and tense
until they go down again in a scattering of keyboard cushions. Without a doubt a different track which can be heard everywhere with a crazy combination of elements.
'Outward Tange' closes the delivery of originals with a flying but highly danceable track. A charming big bassline crosses a volatile arpeggio. A haunting joyful melody accompanies a stampede of tribal shouts that seems to unleash a horseback run down the hill. Like the
musicalization of traveling through a landscape where the herd returns to the village after a happy victory. An ending of sweet melodies gives a hopeful tone and closes a conceptual aesthetic sound of the Ep.
The first remix comes from the hand of the Tel Aviv artist, Kino Todo who converts 'Oracular Punch' into a march of deep hypnotic roam. Making a constant repetition syncopated in eighth notes, sound layers are added generating altered states, leading us to an ecstatic dance. One of those tracks that looks for feets, chases you, entangles you and once it takes you it does not leave you until you are an exhausted prey surrendered to its captivating enchants.
Aristidez is in charge of remixing 'Truly Wasted'. With an infectious and slippery groove, a güiro in triplets takes us on a journey between minimalist and festive cadence, a small town guaracha celebration. The percussive trance takes you and does not leave you, the melodies lift you up and the devils come out to dance around the fire until dawn.

focused on the track at different times, but without losing the

Portuguese artist. Short leads that resemble strings from
another planet, deliver a hypnotic message accompanied by
classic and well-defined grooves, accompanied by nuclear bombs
disguised as kicks, close hi hats in complex figures that come
and go out of the classic, and posing a serious and forceful
proposal.
The “B” side of the release is made up of 4 remixes by artists
of the highest quality and to whom we give a welcome full of
love and gratitude.
Translate & Pulso, NØRBAK, Temudo and Fixon, have been in
charge of rethinking the history of CRAVO from their particular
perspectives, giving personal approaches to each of the tracks
that make up this wonderful release, ranging from deeper
versions, to tracks that hammer forcefully the mind of the
listener.
