Our twice-a-year trips to upstate New York are something we truly cherish. There’s a special magic in that barn, I swear. This time, we had friends representing 11 nationalities, each bringing their unique backgrounds and stories. Yet there we were, gathered in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, sharing laughter, tears, good food, and incredible music.
Every trip has its own character, and this one was no different. I’m thrilled to share the recording of my Saturday night set, which followed Kim Kenis’s phenomenal 4-hour journey. It felt like a natural progression to start with some deep, dubby tracks and gradually build the tension. I’m really happy with how the mix turned out, and I hope it resonates with you, too. Finishing the set brought such a feeling of joy. One I know I’ll hold onto for a long time.
Here’s to more music, memories, and the connections that make it all worthwhile.

Ario also played at Paraffin Tehran’s 1 year anniversary in Iran, a festival with Iranian acts from all around the world. This mix is the actual recording of Ario’s performance at Experiment Intrinsic London on September 15/2018, Intrinsic is an event organisation which is taking place a at special locations around the world focusing on ambient music, also including a very special visual art treatment at their events.
