Dan Greenwood, a.k.a. http://soundcloud.com/lonesomedstringband, is a fine singer and player of multiple acoustic instruments, and I've been enjoying his talents for some time now.  He's also a storehouse of folk-music information and a fine writer--the "liner notes" to his tunes are some the best I've come across on SoundCloud, and I always learn something new from reading them.

So, when Dan recently made a comment about wanting to play wash tub bass along with a tune of mine, I said, "go ahead!"  Well, not only did he do that, he played some solid rhythm guitar and added a harmony vocal that, for me, makes the whole thing sizzle.  It's just what the song was waiting for!
