We are a three piece rock band from the North East of England.

Music that's fallen face down, in the dark soil. . . then turned over to face the stars. . .

Whether it was supporting Les Battersby from Coronation Street in a Lionel Richie covers band, being sandwiched between the bingo and Sticky Vicky as one of The Blues Brothers or even playing his acoustic upside down in the middle of nowhere before heading off to work all night in a car factory...Ricky’s rite of passage continues to be a colourful one!

Ricky began his musical journey when he was still at school as a bass player playing in bands in the North East and London before moving on to Spain and slowly gravitating from the shadows to the centre stage.

Years spent travelling around the North playing at endless different venues and events honed his craft and reputation as a solid performer and in March 2020 he released his debut album ‘The Right Light’ to critical acclaim, having three tracks from it played on BBC Introducing, including one track of the week for ‘Coming Up’.

Musician from Sunderland. Berry prides himself on his performance and showmanship, allowing him to show natural sincerity to his character and presence on stage. Berry has been described by NE Volume magazine as “heartfelt, sentimental and touching"

His debut E.P named “Old Fashioned Youth” has went down a storm with both fans and critics alike, with NE Volume describing it as “a beautiful, well-written 6-track E.P. It tells an honest tale about the difficulties of friendship, loneliness and heartache” The idea of the E.P came about after a friend mentioned that the songs were traditionally written, but had a modern twist to them. This gives appeal to the younger listeners, whilst holding the values of songs much loved in the 50's and 60's. Berry has had a tremendous amount of live experience, having performed hundreds of gigs in pubs and clubs in and around the North East. This has gave him the niche of a true entertainer, and the confidence to perform at any level on any stage. 

Berry won a song-writing competition that took place at Gateshead College. Battling out against many fine artists, his song “white skies” (found on the E.P) earned him a new guitar and great sense of pride and deliverance. He has appeared on the Spark FM local radio show a number of times to play his songs live in the studio to many of the stations listeners, much to the fans enjoyment.

Chased By Badguys are a pop/blues influenced trio, blending together musical influences to create a unique sound of alternative pop.

Ghost EP was released in May 2014 as a free download, with the title track Ghost being played on Newcastle's BBC introducing shortly afterwards.

Reece Armstrong saw a win in the final of a local Sunderland singer songwriter contest as Chased By Badguys. The show aimed to demonstrate the regions fantastic but unknown talent of the many musicians in the area.

The group released their single 'Dirty Little Secret' in 2016 and are currently recording more material for release in 2017.
