Since 2013 producers and djs such as Headman, Marc Piñol,  Hugo Capablanca, Man Power, Undo, Morgan Hammer, Zombies in Miami, Abstraxion, Golden Bug, Baby G, Shelby Grey, or Moo Moonster, amongst others, have played on Danceteria.
 
Danceteria Barcelona is something like the version made in Barcelona of the legendary club of New York born on the early 80’s. Danceteria opened its doors for the first time on 1979 with all kind of live gigs and dance music without any boundaries. This monthly party suits this musical spirit as a tribute to a great time of the clubbing scene and as a will to give those sounds a new, and contemporary twist but always claiming their pure form. Disco, synth wave, post-punk, techno-pop, acid, boogie, italo, techno, cosmic, punk-funk, EBM or Chicago House are some of the genres that Danceteria brings you to dance.

Dj Lui is the resident of Danceteria. An usual suspect of Barcelona´s clubland spinning records since 1994, also resident of Lolita, The Loft and Rex Room at Razzmatazz Club, where he has played with names such as Daniel Avery, Lindstrom, Psychemagyk, Tensnake, Joakim, Aeroplane, Joe Goddard, Tim Sweeney, Space Dimension Controler, Tiger & Woods, Horse Meat Disco, Bottin or Jacques Renault… and many more.

Danceteria NYC. Back to the old school.

Danceteria, the legendary club from New York was the place to be if you wanted to hear good dance music and hit the dancefloor from 1979 to 1986. A place with any prejudices or boundaries in terms of genres visited by all kind of artists and musicians when they wanted to have a good party. New Order, Billy Idol, Cindy Lauper, los Smiths, Basquiat, Keith Haring, The B-52'S, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Madonna, Sonic Youth, Violent Femmes, Soft Cell, Warhol, The Stones and many others played there, or just partied with their friends listening the live gigs and also danced to the disco music and the first synth pop tunes that were mixed by Mark Kamins and Sean Cassette. Those were the reasons that made Danceteria one the most historic clubs in New York.

En sus 25 años de DJ ha pinchado en los mejores clubs y festivales del país: Apolo (Residente) (And), Becool (Bcn), Fellini (Bcn), City Hall (Bcn), Nitsa (Bcn), Sidecar (Bcn), Slow (Residente) (Bcn), Cassette (Residente) (Bcn), Demodé (Bcn), Switch (Bcn), Garage 442 (Bcn), Metro (Alc), Metropop (Residente) (Alc), Camelot (Alc), Ovuca (Alc), Le Club (Vlc), La Soireé (Residente) (Vlc), Moss (Mur), Festival Deleste (Vlc), Electropop Festival (Mur) Electro Splash Benicassim.. A compartido cabina con Ellen Alien, Headman, John Acquaviva, Paul Woolford.. Actualmente es residente mensual del mítico Cassette Bar de Barcelona y responsable de las fiestas itinerantes “Modern Disco Club”
