After meeting the late Mel Waiter on the Blues is Alright tour, when Nelson first came to the Southern Soul scene in 2011, Mel Waiters was the first artist to give Nelson advice on surviving the market. He witnessed others remake Mel's music, and often sang his version of Mel's music. This version is Nelson's collab with friend and producer Sean Dolby.
