Fixate was founded in Edinburgh, Scotland and is the brainchild of Michael McLeod (aka Jakal, Mr. Mike Holyrood).

Fixate is not only about the music but the whole package within music from the artist to the business management, booking, the extensive and hard working marketing team, fashion, video team etc.

The Fixate Team does not intend to sign artists, the team will release tracks by specific projects but is also a supporting tool for young artists in electronic music to help them be heard with the possibility of getting their work out into the real world without having to depend on major labels.

The main musical style on Fixate is electronic music but focuses mainly on techno and its sub-genres. The name of the game is dancing, whether it is grooving in the backroom or going for it in the main room.

Violeta Svaibadaite, aka Miss V, started her musical journey at the age of twelve, training as a vocalist. In 2004, she got into the underground dance music scene by becoming a resident Dj at club Studio in Deux Alpes which she did for a season. That sparked off her passion for Techno and her musical guest to learn the business. So later she studied sound production and music business at Edinburgh College. While she was learning the music business side, got few collaborations with French artists such as Animal Dst and Cöda and released on French label Indé klik music. 
Violeta has also been DJing with the Psychotropic Beatz Collective (PBC World Service) which is a group of world-class Dj's/Producer. She was a resident on Fnoob techno radio Sonic therapy. Miss V  organised techno charity event 'Be together' in the past. This event was featuring DJs/ promoters from most known Edinburgh techno clubs such as Jackhammer, Pulse, Compact, Unseen, Disorder, Club 10-86. Miss V  also performed as a guest DJ in one of the above- mentioned techno event- Disorder. Currently, she is doing Media (BA) Hons degree.

Dale Petersen is the architect behind Emprah, the Australian electronic project that turned a small-town obsession into a globally distributed sonic footprint. 

What began as a fixation on the technical mastery of Deadmau5 evolved into a relentless pursuit of production perfection, with Petersen locking himself away to craft loops from dusk until dawn.

That isolation paid off when his work caught the ear of the late Australian music mogul Gene Pierson. Recognizing a rare caliber of talent, Pierson signed Petersen to Lifestyle Music, securing him access to the massive distribution infrastructure of The Orchard and Sony Music Australia. 

The result was Outa the Blue (2019), a 10-track manifesto of atmospheric pop and electronic precision. Petersen isn’t just a producer; he is a verified entity in the global music database, bridging the gap between underground grit and major-label polish.

V. A. Aka MataVerve Was Born in 1983 in Italy. MataVerve's music passion has grown from the wish of making the difference in society,trying to change it with his music.
For this reason, MataVerve decide to start sharing his own idea of different culture in sound and create a new way of music.
In the last four years, his dark and metallic sound has been played and make dance in a deep and intense trip around different Puglia's clubs and illegal party.
MataVerve's specialties are mashups and digital/analog live performances.

Dancyn Drone is a Swedish producer, remixer, DJ and multi studio instrumentalist playing bass guitar on current releases with Eric Turner, Tinie Tempa, Lupe Fiasco and many more.

Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden started playing drums at the age of 6. Founded his first band at the age 11 writing their own songs. Since then he´s been playing all genres of music in a number of bands from reggae, ska, hip hop and jazz to, pop, rock, punk and metal.

Club music has always been a big interest and today the main influences are house and progressive. Big original tunes and remixes on the way!
