Passionate since the age of 14, music is for him the means to express himself.
Everything starts at a private party with friends, to liven up the evening, they are served by a computer with mixing software. Very curious, he tried and here is the click!
Since then, he combines several musics to offer his personal touch.
He works on his remixes or other Bootlegs / Mashups in order to progress and to be able to continue to assert himself under the name of "Red Cork".

Echonomist represents the true definition of ‘artist’. His prolific output combined with his ability to experiment with a variety of styles and liberated approach, are essential components of his artistic nature. With years of experience already under his belt, Echonomist has gone through a leap in his development recently, with releases on Innervisions, Afterlife, TAU, and Kompakt, among others, establishing his production prowess. Working with such influential labels has not only boosted his profile but, more importantly, demonstrated that his musical ability has reached an impeccable standard, acknowledged by label heads like Dixon, Ame, Tale Of Us, Michael Mayer, and Adana Twins. Both on a solo tip and in collaborative projects Echonomist’s talent shines through and he’s primed for continued success at the very highest level...

Joze Arce (Jocan Deka). He was born in Mexico City in 1985. From his early childhood, he showed interest in arts in general, but it was not until his adolescence, that his passion for music arose.

When learning how to play some musical instruments for a period of time, he is introduced to electronic music and he decides to focus deeper on it: "it changed my panorama. I just fell in love with it, and I haven't been able to leave it..."

He has had a foray into many kinds and styles of music, getting many more experiences, standing out the Mexican underground scene,  he has put a difference with his style and passion, from the time the rave scene appeared in his country in 2000, up to date. He has been working steadily in his musical and somehow artistic vocation, since during all that time, he learned a lot from visual art and design. His music couldn't be necessarily classified, because in the story of his dj life, fusion is what defines him.
