//Was bedeutet deine Musik für dich?//
Musik bedeutet nichts ohne die Umstände, in denen sie entsteht, gehört oder gespielt wird. Für mich bedeutet das Identitätsstiftung und Abgrenzung. Es bedeutet, in den Dissens zu gehen und Unfrieden zu stiften wo cis Männer denken, zu viel Raum einnehmen zu müssen, wenn weiße Menschen das N- Wort unverblümt mitsingen, samplen oder in ihrem Set spielen und Transfeindlichkeit eine diskutable Haltung innerhalb unserer Szene bleibt. Und irgendwann bedeutet sie vielleicht auch mal gar nichts.

//Woher nimmst du deine Inspiration?//
Meistens entweder vom Alleinsein und aus der Auseinandersetzung mit allen strukturellen Hürden, die mir während der Vorbereitung eines solchen Mixes begegnen. Oder aus freudigen Momenten, wenn mir Freund:innen tracks zeigen oder ich zufällig auf welche stoße.

//Was muss sich deiner Meinung nach in der Szene ändern?//
Ich will mehr Schwarze Menschen in der Szene sehen. Egal, ob an der Tür, in der Reinigungscrew, in Booking Agencies oder an der Bar. Im Publikum, auf dem Line-up oder auf’m cover von guest mixes.
Diese Szene hat ihre Existenz vor allem Schwarzen Menschen zu verdanken. Von jenem Dank und jener Wertschätzung sehe ich an vielen Stellen nicht so viel.

"I’ve met Griffin aka Francis Inferno out and about quite a few times now and have to say he’s fully good vibes all the way. The other week Lexx sent me a track by him that I’d never checked before on Superconscious that is pretty flipping great and here’s another new one by him. The main mix of Oasis sounds like an old Italian vibe, one of those ones with a breakbeat running underneath, though with the break pushed to the front which works perfectly for these times. Also great is the Erotikk mix of ‘Oasis’ which comes on like a late 80s / early 90s B side secret weapon and ‘Mating Rituals’ which rounds the record off goes all tribal and chant-y before dropping into a messed up little break and out again. It all sounds like he’s having loads of fun but the throw it in the pot attitude works perfectly." - Testpressing
