SMK is a producer and DJ from the city of Curitiba. Having started his work as a DJ in the local scene of  his hometown, SMK has released several releases on national and international record labels, in addition to being connected with several artistic musical projects where he seeks to transcend the sphere of electronic music. A sound identity that seeks a mix between introspective, erudite and groove, SMK brings in its presentations dynamic sets that range between deep, minimal and house, where the ultimate goal is to connect people to music and art.

Tendo iniciado seu trabalho como DJ na cena local de sua cidade natal, SMK lançou diversos lançamentos em gravadoras nacionais e internacionais, além de estar conectado a diversos projetos artísticos musicais onde busca transcender a esfera da música eletrônica. Uma identidade sonora que busca uma mistura entre o introspectivo, o erudito e o groove, SMK traz em suas apresentações sets dinâmicos que oscilam entre o deep, o minimal e o house, onde o objetivo final é conectar as pessoas à música e à arte.

HUGR1's music is characterized by deep, engaging rhythms, repetetive structures, and gradually emerging melodies that captures the audience. His style is raw and genuine with psychedelic expressions that create enveloping atmospheres. Through his appreciation for both modern electronic soundscapes and the timeless sounds of our musical heritage, he tells a story that unites listeners in a profound and powerful experience.

The term “hugr,” from ancient Nordic belief, describes the mind as a traveling force. “Hugr” is considered the part of our souls which can move outside the body during states of trance or ecstasy. Nordic shamans use this to visit other worlds or dimensions for the purpose of obtaining insights, healing, guidance, and to communicate with the spirit world. These spiritual journeys begin through rituals of drumming, dance, and singing that induce a trance-like state where “hugr” can be released from the physical body.

Als Düsseldorfer ist er dem sog des Lucys Sky (by Hippiesque) in die Tiefen des Downtempo/Techno-Kaninchenbaus gefolgt und seither nicht mehr von organischen, modulierten und warpenden Bässen zu lösen. Er spielt eine Mixtur aus Atmosphärischen Klanglandschaften, natürlichen Synthis und Samples gepaart mit wummernden Bassrhythmen, treibender Percussion und viel Liebe.
